You forgot one crucial step that some people will surely miss - "Turn off autosave!" . As soon as you're accidentally hit by something it' a save otherwise
To anyone reading this, I've noticed that just one salty herba mystica + any other herba mystica (except bitter) also works in a lot of these recipes that claim you need two salty ones. You do need two mysticas but from my experience the second one can be sweet or spicy too. I tried this for the fighting type, here it lists that you'd need 1x pickles and 2x salty HMs. I did one salty and one spicy and it still worked for me. So maybe try it? This could be helpful because you don't have to waste your time looking for a 2nd one if it works with what you're trying to get and unnecessarily waste the salty ones which are vital to the lvl 3 encounter powers
@@robisnon1236 i tried it with salty and spicy and I've gotten all three pretty much every time so that's definitely weird. I think it's just best to try all the possible combos before doing 2x salty just so you don't have to waste one if something works
Tried all other mysticas over the 2nd salty and received egg power over encounter power everytime, I think encounter power lvl3 is just as important as sparkling power in this instance, as you're relying on the amount of spawns of that type in spawn dense areas!

@@koji8123 For me it was the opposite. In Legends Arceus I wandered around until I caught every Pokemon in an area and did all the available side quests. In Scarlet it was more of a, get on Koraidon, get all the transport abilities as fast as possible and run from pokecenter to pokecenter (you will be way overleveled anyway)

Honestly, if it’s truly this easy, I’m just going to hunt them naturally, albeit with the Shiny Charm lol… 5 - 10 minutes for a shiny? I won’t get an adrenaline rush from that lmao! I might increase the spawn rate for a species to get more rolls, but increasing SHINY SPAWNS? Too easy for me. Very good and instructive video though!
Gosh I'd love to do more 5 star raids but PEOPLE DONT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE TO USE MOVES SUPEREFFECTIVE AGAINST THE TERRA TYPE. Great video tho. Concise and well organized. Well done.

I did not expect you to be able to have multiple of these mons. I thought they were some kind of weird pseudo that you would have to go after like the Regis in BDSP or all the extra legendaries in the Ultra butthole. I can't wait to have a box of great tusks, for the memes. LMAO
QUICK TIP: Find a shining star on the floor, save the game, hope for a bag of stardust or a starpiece, start a picnic with the basket over the shining star, wait for about 10-ish minutes and get infinite amounts of these items to sell for balls, ingredients, ect. EDIT: Star Peices seem to sell more, good luck!
If i try to hunt iron valiant with this method, do I have to look in the cave where it spawns alway or does it also appear outside of it? And do you own the shiny charm in your video?

Question? You seem pretty knowledgeable on this topic so do you know if different sandwiches will increase The rate of certain types of Pokémon that appear in outbreaks? For example, if I made a water type boosted sandwich, would that increase the chances that I find a finizen outbreak?
No, out breaks are random and reset every time your switch goes from 11 59 pm to 12 am via natural means.If you want to quickly reset the outbreaks set you switch to 11 59 pm, get into the game, and wait a minute.
@@Boltreaver317 I've been skipping forwards 2 days and the outbreaks reset, and then I skip backwards two days and they reset again instantly, no need for waiting
One thing I would’ve loved to see is how you reset the areas for each mon, since you can picnic reset in Area Zero. I assume you can walk in and out of the research buildings but I’m not sure if there’s an easier method to reset encounters than that.
I found 6 shinies in one day this game is breaking records.. Years now turned into minutes thank you Pokémon for delivering the best game I've played since yellow gold and ruby
My switch is currently in Airplane mode so that I can keep the game in V1.0 state so that these different things wont be patched out yet. I used the Chansey outbreak XP farm method and have tried a few outbreak picnic resets. Im gonna add this to my list so that I can get Ttar, Deliboi, Volc and Hariyama.
So, after getting all the things together, I decided to actually try this out. First tried Fire-type for Iron Moth and couldn't find any within the time limit of the buff. Next I tried Poison-type and although there were a lot of Iron Moth and Venomoth, not a single shiny. Decided to then go for Fighting-type to try my luck at an Iron Valiant, as it's in a small cave, so easier to spot spawns... again, nothing. I know you said RNG does play a factor, but 90 minutes of sandwich buffs and 6 herba mysticas gone with nothing to show for it. Either my Shiny Charm is bugging out with the sandwich, or I just got ridiculously unlucky.
I have an important question. Do we have to catch the Tera Raid Pokemon or can we not catch it and we will still get the rewards and the Herba Mystica?
Nice video mate! Any idea if the ability illuminate still works outside of battle? Since there were rumours before saying that abilities no longer work outside of battle. I was thinking of stacking illuminate wild encounter rates with sandwich power to flood the screen with mons to catch =D
Sadly there are no Pokémon with Illuminate in this gen. Maybe once DLC roles around, but for now they’re all gone. Really hoping they add Lanturn back. It’s a top 10 Pokémon for me even if it’s stats are awful

Any idea why when I did this started hunting flutter mane. It spawned okay for the first 20 minutes and then pokemon stopped to spawned entirely in the area 0.(my sandwich was still on). Not only flutter mane but every pokemon. Anyone else got this bug?

I don't play pokémon since gold on Gameboy advance and only made it to gym 6 on pokémon x. I hate with a passion the level designs. But did this game on switch make it too easy now to find shinies?? I remember they were the talk of the town but now it seems to me that my friends find one every 50 encounter 😂?

Also you can use tomatoes, onions, green peppers, hamburger and 2 specific ingredients that varies on the type (look up) and ANY herba mystica so its not specific herbas (another thing you have to have like one of each ingredient on the sandwich so you can drop 2 green peppers and only have one on the sandwich and t still work)

Question, After making sandwiches for a certain paradox pokemon you want to hunt in a certain area of Area Zero, do you need to knock it out for it to appear in a new wave or do you just run around trying to find it?
I did this method without the herba mystica I just made sandwiches that gave me encounter power and ran around until I got the new salamander hydreigon and a gabite
Great method. Have you tried using it to get a roaring moon shiny? Asking because I just used a dark type sandwich but it didn't seem to work(no massive roaring moon spawn)
Is it possible for 1 player to make the sandwich and travel in front of another player to spawn in Pokemon with their boosts, let the 2nd player catch any shinies that spawn, then reset and do it over and over again?

They have those, the stake mons that you have to pull all the stakes out for.

valiant will spawn in the main caverns just like Great Tusk in this video.
I prefer 90% of the exclusives in Violet, but damn the Scarlet Donphan is superior to Violet's in everyway

Secondary works as well, used electric boost for iron thorns and they spawned like crazy

I don't play pokémon since gold on Gameboy advance and only made it to gym 6 on pokémon x. I hate with a passion the level designs. But did this game on switch make it too easy now to find shinies?? I remember they were the talk of the town but now it seems to me that my friends find one every 50 encounter 😂?

Did a couple of hours of raids and got 8 Spicy HM’s! I need the Salty ones lol
Also you can use tomatoes, onions, green peppers, hamburger and 2 specific ingredients that varies on the type (look up) and ANY herba mystica so its not specific herbas (another thing you have to have like one of each ingredient on the sandwich so you can drop 2 green peppers and only have one on the sandwich and t still work)
You can get it from 6* more often if you do the right ones
I've been hunting using this trick for 2 hours now, seen probably 1000 slither wings and haven't even seen a shiny.

So, after getting all the things together, I decided to actually try this out. First tried Fire-type for Iron Moth and couldn't find any within the time limit of the buff. Next I tried Poison-type and although there were a lot of Iron Moth and Venomoth, not a single shiny.
Decided to then go for Fighting-type to try my luck at an Iron Valiant, as it's in a small cave, so easier to spot spawns... again, nothing.
I know you said RNG does play a factor, but 90 minutes of sandwich buffs and 6 herba mysticas gone with nothing to show for it. Either my Shiny Charm is bugging out with the sandwich, or I just got ridiculously unlucky.
For balance. I just did this for 30 mins and didn’t get one shiny.
I used a fairy one for iron valiant. And got a shiny dead dog
Shiny pokémon just aren't that special anymore since shiny hunting/breeding. The magic's gone 🤷
Once I obtain the game, I’m using this to find a chromed iron valiant named herald,
Big hands named 👍👍
Or iron thorns named pokestar
So if I save BEFORE I make sandwiches now and I restart my game the mysticas are gone:( amd yes auto save is off

Question, After making sandwiches for a certain paradox pokemon you want to hunt in a certain area of Area Zero, do you need to knock it out for it to appear in a new wave or do you just run around trying to find it?

I did this method without the herba mystica I just made sandwiches that gave me encounter power and ran around until I got the new salamander hydreigon and a gabite
Can someone trade me salty mystica herbs? The people you team up with in raids are so god awful at the game it's basically impossible

Great method. Have you tried using it to get a roaring moon shiny? Asking because I just used a dark type sandwich but it didn't seem to work(no massive roaring moon spawn)
Those only spawn in a specific area btw did you make sure you were in that area
@@trappedcosmos Yeah I tried using a different sandwich(dragon type) and it worked. Took about 20 mins to get my shiny.:)
Dude the first time i tried this method I reset twice and got no shinies, this damn Robot Moth keeps eating my luck away with the sandwich
Also they won't let me set up a picnic underground. I don't know if I gotta do it before I take the teleporter down there.

Is it possible for 1 player to make the sandwich and travel in front of another player to spawn in Pokemon with their boosts, let the 2nd player catch any shinies that spawn, then reset and do it over and over again?
I guess these odds are with the shiny charm from completing the dex?
