5:24 OMG my heart almost stopped. The worst way to lift a large panel, good thing it didn’t crack
I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this sort of thing. How should you lift a tv?
Ben Phone a panel that’s 55” and above will have a flex point. The thinner the panel the more likely it will flex towards the mid portion if improperly handled when laid/lifted faced down
The best way is to pivot it so your raising the top of the panel (even distribution to avoid possible horizontal flex) while supporting the bottom so it’s doesn’t ‘skid’ across the floor. Once in a vertical position that’s when you begin to lift from the sides and underneath.
@@AgentSmith2K i see what you mean now. They way they've done it dumps the weight into the middle of the screen rather than leveraging off a stable surface first that supports some of the weight distribution. Makes sense. Thanks.
Then u not see any tv installation in india.. 😂
100% sure that it affected the TV.
With the no gap wall mount are you able to reach the access area in back to connect devices? I ordered two of them and I’m wondering if I should change my order.
Samsung sure made a creative video for that tv. I had to watch it.
Pretty surreal

TVs this big should always be kept in vertical position only. That means while screwing the mount, too! See the amount of flex while they raise the TV from ground around 5:20 - that must not be good for the light distribution surface below the LCD panel!
a bit of poo came out when it flexed! my Samsung 55' has some flex was so careful when i put that up although I've not out as many bolts up as them, over kill lol
What about the wires? Where are those? And why was the screen flickering?
The wires all go to the oneconnect box with a single wire between that and the TV. The screen flicker is from the camera, you don't see that with your eyes.
Amazing TV and nicely installed gents, I'm used to mount tv's directly above fireplaces but it's kind of distractive in my opinion, you guys mounted it a little off to the side which it also makes sense
The fire would be gone in my opinion but its mounted to customers specifications.

Yes it comes with a normal central stand just like the 55" version
Holy refresh rate Batman.
Buddy! always keep the shade of TV Wall darker , so that you get wide colour gamut while watching TV

Hello, can you Please explain How high from the floor should a 75 inch q9fn samsung TV be mounted?
Personal choice. My ideal would be maybe 3 feet from the floor to the bottom of the tv
I was amazed at the difference in thickness of the qled vs. the oled. The oled is SUPER thin!
Only at the top. Unfortunately at the bottom it's really thick

Do you fish the One Connect cord through the wall first, hang the TV next, then plug in the One Connect cord in? The video skips making that connection, so I am curious how easy it is to tilt it out far enough to make the connection with this mount.
Yes first thing we did was use a fibre glass rod through the wall then attach the one connect cable before we mounted the tv itself
@@TellyDan Did you have to buy a separate UL Rated One Connect cable for it to go through the wall? Or is Samsung shipping them with the TVs?
I’m also wondering if the one connect cable that is included is rated for in wall use, or if a separate one needs to be purchased.
@@Lumnuk You need a separate cable rated for in-wall use. They are not cheap.
Love it! Make more like this!

Nice vid. So what do you think of the tv. Im into sci fi films and gaming...would I like it? I currently own a sammy 46d8000 3d so not sure if this would be THAT much better?
I just replaced my 46es7000 with a 55q9fn it's good for gaming input lag is about 15ms. It's really good for movies too.
@@TellyDan thanks Dan. Im assuming it will look a lot better than my flagship 2011 sammy

Yes, that was a fart. 🤣
Is the no gap wall mount should be purchased or is it in free with TV or included in TV box
Not included sorry
Wow that's a very nice tv. I have a 65 inch OLED E6 and really like the picture quality but this is a very nice tv I would consider buying unless Samsung comes out with that MicroLED that is 😁 some don't like the height the tv is in, I have my OLED on a fireplace wall and it doesn't bother me that it's there, it also doesnt make my "Neck Hurt" either. But everyone has their own opinion on where they would like their tv mounted. 😅
True I'd stick with your OLED for a while longer still an awesome tv
Go ahead, Go to Samsung. In a few month, you`r gonna have trouble. Go on Google and reald what Samsung clients say about Samsung. Creapy Tv - s

Can the no-gap tilt vertically? I know its quite pointless using a no-gap wall mount and then have a vertical tilt, but I have to install my TV higher than the eye-line, and need to tilt id down a bit to center the visual sweetspot.
Yes it tilts forwards to so many degrees. We left this slightly tilted forwards.
So beautiful
Great video, did you notice any light bleed or blooming when those black background clips were playing, like the red car etc?
Not really I think the camera exaggerates it slightly. I have the 55" version and you do notice some blooming but no light bleed but its acceptable
Whoa good for watching World Cup...
Can't decide if I want the OLED or QLED which is better
I like the picture on OLED maybe slightly more although they lack a bit of detail in the blacks but reliability worries me a bit. I think I'm going for the q9 myself.
Go for QLED, it is the tv of the year and it has brightness levels of over 2000 nits which you can't find on any tv!

why its flicker, is it on camera or tv fault
It's just the camera the tv is fine

Do Samsung do this in curved?
Not this model with the direct backlight. They do the Q8 curved but its edge lit

Hello! Did your one connect cable from your other TV work on the Q9F? If so which model did you use to have?
No the other tv was a 2017 qled so we had to replace the cable which we managed to thread through the wall cavity.
at 1.07 someone farted,hahah
I want to buy this
awesome tv
Looks like amazing quality! Does that wall mount come with tv or you have to buy separately? Also how heavy is that tv and what’s the weight rating of that wall mount? Hahaha stuffed If it breaks and falls down :(
The wall mount comes separately. The tv weighs 39kg which isn't bad for its size and build. I've mounted heavier just make sure you have appropriate fixing for your walls. We commonly use concrete screws that require no plugs for most solid walls.
TellyDan aw ok fair enough I’ll have to check what the walls like first then cheers
Mine has flickering.
Will installers route the cords through your wall for you ? Just asking
Depends on the wall and the installer. If I've got a good chance of it working I would.
This week I Been watching 3 or 4 TV unboxings and all tvs are mounted so damn high.... What the hell is wrong with all this people... They all are getting the tv mounted to the wall wey above eye level.
This one had the seating position far away so worked out ok but I know what you mean I like them nice and low.
am not sure you would like kids to throw anything on it or play with spoon by scratching it just by curiosity 😉
Why does the pic flick ? N how do u fix this I bought mine 75 inch yesterday so I’ll be struggling to setup
It's the camera you shouldn't see it with the human eye
Congrats :)
HI Dan, is the TV also powered by the one connect cable or do you need to supply a separate power to the TV?
Hi. Just power to the one connect box. The power goes up the one connect cable

Just purchased the 2018 q9 75fn. I'm thinking of going with the Phillips hue light strips on the back of it. Would there be space to put it even with the nogap wallmount?
You can tilt the nogap mount to allow for the light strips
The mount that you installed, does it swivel side to side in case tv is crooked?
Danny Gomez it does, have one too and the wall mount is just brilliant and easy to install
I just heard sonic boom 💥 🤯 🤭

First off these No Gap Tv is great bout for folks who run out to buy these here a few things to keep in mind before doing so .
1. Unless your sources are in a cabinet close by say in a typical piece of furniture under Tv then no problem running proprietary Fiber cable from Tv to ConnectOne box .
2. If sources are further away you will need to purchase a 15 meter Fiber cable for $350 - $400 bucks.
3. If you plan to keep ConnectOne box behind Tv you will need to accommodate for this huge box by recessing it into wall behind Tv.
4. The sound quality from these Tv are lacking and I strongly advise on a powered Soundbar or External speaker setup with AVR .
Q8DNA was the similar 2018 model with connections on the TV no one connect, no nogap mount. This year I think it's the 8000rat model that has the connections on it no one connect. The 2018 Q9 did have a 5m oneconnect lead though. More so the problem was if an existing TV had been mounted where the connections came out of the wall behind the TV. We ended up feeding the cables back down the wall to the oneconnect box.
