About The Nanny:
Fran Drescher stars as Fran Fine, a street-smart young woman with a face out of Vogue and a voice out of Queens who stumbles onto the opportunity to become nanny to the children of a wealthy widower, Maxwell Sheffield. @@danh5637 ah no, she's actually more beautiful than Fran. I saw her nicely dressed with different hair style and Fran couldn't match her beauty. They put her in these suits and make less appealing but professional hair styles because it goes in line with her character, but also so that she doesn't over-shadow Fran.

I never even noticed that! Very subtle, but it's there. Goes to show you how great these actors are. Even if they're not on camera or the main focus while on camera, they commit 100% to their roles.

Yeah while that was funny, she really could've killed Fran. And Max just stood there like he didn't give a shit but at least Niles said something.

Fun fact, though I'm sure many fans of this show know it: The guy playing Brock Storm is Stephen Nichols, he's probably most famous for playing Steve Johnson on Days of our Lives, Stefan Cassadine on General Hospital and Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless. Him and Charles Shaunessy actually played brothers-in-law on Days.

Those are all the lines and I think there are versions in a lot of languages. I used to sing the Dutch version. But the words don't really matter, it's the way you sing it when you're singing it with several people. Ideally four. One person starts with the first line, singing it twice then at the moment they start with the second line the second person starts with the first line. Move on to the third double line, second person moves on to the second double line and the third person starts with the first. And so on ad infinitum. After the fourth line you start with the first again. There was a scene in Star Trek TNG where captain Picard was leading a group of children through some ladders and ducts in the Enterprise and he taught them the song and how to sing it to distract them from whatever the bad dude of the week was in that episode.
BTW, I think the third line is Tous les cloches sonnes.
The joke I think is that she thought he was quoting the famous Nat King Cole song "Darling, Je vous aime beaucoup" so her response was to quote back another song in a different language .
