I thought about changing the clutch on my doblò, but after watching the first 5 minutes of this video, I changed my mind. My most sincere congratulations for the work you do. I enjoy doing much simpler things, like changing the oil, filter and brake pads, sometimes even the timing belt, but I didn't think it was that difficult to change a car clutch. To each his own work....
Wasn't sure if you were going to change a clutch or abseil down a rock face and deliver a box of black magic. Hats off to you for completing that on a driveway.
Do those fiats have a release bearing guide tube on the gearbox ? like Renault kangoo etc ? thats what caused mine to fail it had a clutch replaced that only lasted 10,000 did it again myself found that tube had worn down so bearing getting jammed hard to spot.
it wasn't bolted its the same as your video. I swapped the old valeo clutch out for the Sachs kit seems good but the clutch is soft and bites quick is this normal? thanks
Brilliant videos mate, almost therapeutic. Just wondering if you've ever done the 1.6 multijet engine on this van or do you know if anything differs significantly? Would really appreciate anything you might know. Cheers!
Yes it’s there’s one on the channel. Only difference is you’d have to take bumper off to access the partial subframe bar bolts that’ll need coming off.
hi. interesting me did you change clutch on fiat stilo? my uncle have trouble with starter I cant remove all 3 bolts, 2 its no problem, but 1 on far side looking from bottom its unreachable.
hello clutchgod;) I have great respect for your work. it is very interesting to watch you. one question do you still do fitness as compensation? because of strength and posture? (hard work) cheers✌️
Just wanted to ask, Is the Fiat 1.6 much more involved than the Vauxhall 1.3. I notice also on this one you take the driveshafts right out. Been quoted £1200 (with vat) to supply and fit Flywheel and clutch. Seems so much.
Is it just my subjective feeling or has this Fiat Doblo the most individual parts attached to the Gearbox/Clutch that hold it in place, like in tightest/narrowest space to work within it seemed at the very least (compared to other videos)
Best way is to prime it. Leave the bleed screw open and attach a tube on the end and slowly pump the pedal. Leave it down. Shut the bleed screw and pump pedal

The older ones are. Don’t think it’s the case anymore. Well as far as I’ve seen.
it wasn't bolted its the same as your video.

Hi Kevin. I wanted to ask you why the clutch tears when cold and when the engine is hot it does not. Fiat Panda 312/318. Thanks for the reply.

You have to drop the gearbox side mount down. And with a 13mm spanner. Slowly slowly undo it with a 13mm spanner. Takes about 2 hrs ..lol
Great video, how much Nm is that impact gun?
hello clutchgod;)

Hi Kev, (Stig of clutch replacement), is there any clutch you wouldn't do on the floor?
BRAVO DAVVERO!!!!!!!
Hi Kevin! which car do you think is easiest or fastest to change clutch on👍😁

Hi Kevin does the starter have to come out when doing this clutch ?
I can’t remember mate. The video is an exact illustration

nose como logras encajar la caja de cambios . yo tengo que gastar mucha fuerza para hacer encajar la caja de cambios con el bloque motor 😧
How long should this job take for a mechanic to do ?
Just wondering about times as I'm an apprentice ATM and my average time for a clutch replacement on a front wheel is 5 hours
What area are you in mate fancy doing a gearbox change on a similar engine? 😬
No probs.

Are the clutches easy enough to bleed on these ?
Best way is to prime it. Leave the bleed screw open and attach a tube on the end and slowly pump the pedal. Leave it down. Shut the bleed screw and pump pedal
