I have an IPF770 And the printhead go to fail after only 164M2. Can you recomend an A0 ploter that can work a lot of more time with compatible ink ? IPf printhead is enormous price and is one head with all colors. Where is the good day wher hp if i remeber coreclty have four printhead, easyly exchange only color with problems. Epson seem have similar problems in the past, printhead with very much problem . Is thhere an reliable large printher with an acceptable price that can work ok with compatible Ink (original ink is ourageous expensive...)
To be honest, we strongly recommend the Canon iPF series. These are the easiest printers to refill and to service too. I'd actually recommend replacing the printhead unit and continuing to use your iPF770.
@@InkOwldotcom Thanks for your kindly input. Indeed is easy to refil and maybe to service, but prithhead is 330E minimum. If i got 150m2 of printing i have 2 E cost /m2...Is an enormous price. Will Canon Acounting software still display the correct ink usage with refilled ink (to calculate print costs)? Let's say I have 30ml original Lucia TD ink in my cartridges, can I fill the cartridge with InkOwl ink? (Can I mix). If I can't, do I need to do some sort of cleaning before refilling? If I buy InkOwl cartridges, do they have a specislized hole for easy filling? Does the chip reset when I refill them? Is there any danger to using this ink? Thanks!
When the ink level in memory on the cartridge chip reaches 0%, you have to do the bypass to continue printing, and from that point on, the ink levels will not be tracked. Therefore, the ink usage software will no longer give accurate readings. That said, the cost per unit volume with our ink versus CANON's is as much as 80% lower, meaning that other costs like paper become much more predominant in actually estimating print costs, not to mention employee time setting up and running the print jobs. You can absolutely refill even before the original CANON ink empties. The mixture of our ink with CANON ink is not a problem. We do sell cartridges for most printers, as you may have seen on our website. However, there is no advantage to refilling our cartridges versus just refilling the CANON cartridges you already own. There is no pre-made hole nor does the chip reset. You'd still refill our cartridges the exact same way as shown in this video, and have to do the chip bypass when "empty". We chose to have our inks manufactured in the USA so that we can exert much better control over their quality. We're thus able to ensure batch-to-batch consistency with every re-order so that there are no surprises. Our inks match the colorant type used by CANON (pigments where CANON uses pigments, dyes where CANON uses dyes), and the inks are formulated with a similar chemical base as the original so that they can be mixed in the cartridge and in the printer's tubing without ill effect. Our inks are absolutely compatible with the CANON printhead technology and you can order them either in our cartridges or in bulk with full confidence!
If the cartridge is leaky, that is to say, if you continually shake the cartridge, ink continually leaks out of the exit holes, then it will need to be replaced.
Might be a dumb question but your product can be used to refill original cartridges? I don't have to buy new cartridges and then refill? Thanks in advance
The iPF605's print head cannot support pigment ink, I'm afraid. If you need a pigment based printer, best to switch it out for a Canon iPF6400SE or an Epson T3270.
Hello, I was just looking at your site and was interested in buying a 120ml Bulk Kit for my CANON MAXIFY Printer. I was wondering how many times one bottle will fill the cartridges you sell. Thanks so much!
For the Canon Maxify, you can get for more information on the product here: ruclips.net/video/XycHQMBWdY8/видео.html The number of refills depends on the model. For PGI-1200 cartridges, it's 3 of black and 6 each color. For the PGI-2200, it's 1.5 of black and 3 of each of each color.
I accidently got a PFI-703C when I needed a PFI-706C. Do you know if both inks are the same? If so I think I can use this method to move the ink from the PFI-703 to the PFI-706.
The PFI-703 is a dye-based ink, totally different from the PFI-706 series, so the inks cannot be transferred over. If you bought the cartridge from us, you can contact our customer service about an exchange.
Hi, i accidentally got a PFI-102M when I needed a PFI-104M. Do you know if both inks are the same? If so I think I can use this method to move the ink.
The inks are distinct, and the chips are distinct too. If you have a 102M cartridge when you need a 104M, the cartridge will not be accepted by the printer.
Our refill kits use a very sharp "cannula" needle, designed for this purpose. The needle is designed to penetrate the rubber seal without removing any material. So, once removed, the rubber expands and seals the hole. It's the same principle as the needles inside the Canon printer!
We don't have any specific refillable cartridges for that model. However, you can refill the original PFI-030 cartridges you already have! The technique is the same as shown in this video and the ink is available on our site: www.inkowl.com

Did you use a cannula needle as shown in the video? If you used a regular hypodermic needle, the seals on the cartridge have certainly been damaged. Unfortunately, once a cartridge leaks, it will need to be replaced.
Hi! Can I use an empty and cleaned pfi 107 magenta cartridge to fill it with cyan ink and insert on the cyan color tank? Or every cartridge must be used with the same color named on the cartridge?
The chip on the cartridge is programmed for a specific color slot. Also, the cartridges have keying to prevent them being put in the wrong slot. Furthermore, cleaning a cartridge is very difficult to do properly and mixing inks together or mixing ink and water can cause unexpected issues. All this to say, we really cannot recommend this!
