Quite far how long is it going to take for passengers to reach the airport from lets say Bandra Andheri (W) Versova etc and what are the transportation facilities like given the present infrastructure of the roads and traffic conditions
More than 1/3 of our annual budget goes into freebies, subsidies, welfare schemes and ration. Farmers are the biggest burden on this country, a section of people who want no development but all the freebies. At least this airport will be used by taxpayers.
I think it would be a lot more convenient for passengers if the whole roof covers all gates. Also, if a passenger has to take connecting flight on the next terminal, he/she may have to run like hell as the terminals are mostly situated linearly.

Sorry to sound negative but like all projects in Bombay nothing seems to have a proper end date. All projects seem to go over budget and over time not by months but by years. So giving a time frame of 2024 is unrealistic. Look at the Metro system which should have been ready and is still causing public so much of a problem and the coastal road which is only open 8-8pm. Roads and highways need to be built to sustain all this before any planes can land !

All your information is wrong including the project cost is more than 2.1 billion in US dollar and the expected passenger handing capacity is likely to exceed more than 90 million and beyond that the high speed rail will function only from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, not Hyderabad which is southern state. All your information is wrong including the project cost is more than 2.1 billion in US dollar and the expected passenger handing capacity is likely to exceed more than 90 million and beyond that the high speed rail will function only from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, not Hyderabad which is southern state. But it's a open secret that Adani recieved contact of 6 airports with tendering authority completely violating the process. If Adani wants to build and operate airports on their own, nobody would have any problem. But 1000s of crores of taxpayers money is pumped into these projects and then the projects are handed in a platter to Adani. How is that capitalism or deshbhakti?

During our childhood, we had listen story of a farmer who had a pet mongoose. One day when he return back from farmland he found that the mongoose has full blood at its mouth. it is not as if airports were given on a golden platter to adani. it was done through transparent tender process. for instance for tiruvanandhapuram, offers were made by many including kerala government. since adani quoted the highest it was awarded to him.
