Well done! I am glad there are a bunch of people keeping Michael Hedges songs and style alive, especially because Michael is no longer with us. His way of playing guitar should and is being preserved.
I couldn't agree with you more! So I found some guitar players to hold his commemorative concert in Taiwan in January this year, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/Xgxu9PD__-o/видео.html
Utter delight to see and hear. Nicely recorded and filmed. One can really get some insight and understanding of how this piece is played. Thank you for sharing this with us all.
Thank you! After taking lessons with John Stropes, I was able to play the melodies more clearly, you can check this out. ruclips.net/video/-CwYfL97OM0/видео.html
You are amazing!! You play the gutar with such an interesting & unique style, its just awesome to listen & watch you!! I would love to see you play Tightrope by Stefan Grossman, I think your style of playing would be absolutely perfect for the song Tightrope!! ❤ gosh you are so wonderful!!!
Thank you! This is my self-taught playing. After the guidance of John Stropes, I can finally play it correctly. Here is the link to the new video. 🙂 ruclips.net/video/-CwYfL97OM0/видео.html
Oh wow. This is utterly amazing. Such a beautiful cover of such a beautiful piece, Why oh why have you only got 154 subscribers? Well, make that 155 now...

@@guitarmaychin For example, 7th measure. I'm having trouble laying down my index finger on the first fret without muting the open string on the 2nd string. My hands are not big and yet they are getting in the way here. P.s. What does your name translate to in English, if that's ok to ask?
@@gregdavidson5898 The index finger presses two strings at the same time! You can clearly see my left hand in this video(00:12), I hope it can help you. ruclips.net/video/-CwYfL97OM0/видео.html My name is Hsu, Mei-Ching A.K.A Cecilia 🙂
@@guitarmaychin I was going to guess that was your name (cough). I HAVE been using the index to cover the bottom 2 strings. That's where my problem is, the index sometimes lightly touches the 2nd and 3rd string so they don't ring out. It's not easy for me to flatten the tip of the Index and yet life it or curve it over the other strings. My problem, but I really appreciate your feedback and help, Hsu.
@@gregdavidson5898 For some people, it is not easy to bend the first joint of the index finger like that, but just like stretching, try to press the table vertically with the index finger, let the first joint bend, and control the strength yourself, please pay attention Don't get hurt.🙂
That's a great version of this piece. Ever since I saw Michael live in 1988 I wanted to understand how this works. I eventually got the Stropes transcription but never got it to the kind of precision you display here.
Andy learned his versions by ear years ago. Michael states in an interview that he would prefer for people to do their own things instead of playing his versions one to one. Thats why andy decided to keep his interpretation.
Thank you! I have been playing guitar for over twenty years. After groping for Michael's music for ten years, I started to take John Stropes's class last year. After the class, I was able to play more details. Here is the link of video recorded after the class: ruclips.net/video/-CwYfL97OM0/видео.html

Few reach this level of talent on guitar. Simply amazing.
Thank you! I'm happy you like it.
Reeeeeeely terrific! So sad when we lost Michael in '97. Keep his music alive.

謝謝您!
我是網路上找的譜,但是只看譜還是不懂怎麼彈,慢慢對照著網路上找的影片練起來的!
