    Sorry but I am skipping the Benchmade portions of your weekly videos. They have hit their head and have began pricing their products out of my life. I could understand if they were special or cutting edge but they aren't so their loss. Thank you for giving us this show every week. Y'all really do a nice job. And thank you for showing us the products and not acting like a shady car salesman.

      I've worked with Benchmade in the past (along with many of the other local PNW knife and tool companies up here)... they're a GARBAGE company and their quality is crap. The pricing is just the newest in a long line of idiocy at that trash company.

    The lack of belt attachment hardware on that Benchmade sheath (11:28) might be like stopping supplying charging bricks with mobiles - ppl have enough of them and don't need the wasted plastic for a generic item?

    I love RoseCraft's design language with their traditional line. Just waiting for the sweet spot for me...their slip joints are gorgeous and perfect except for the D2 (personally). This modern version is great with the M390, but it has lost much of the classic beauty of the slips. If they could just put a more stainless steel on the nice classic slip series, I'd feel tempted. Maybe this continued venture into the modern traditional spells good news in the future.

    What's the deal with the S30V/G10 Bodacious being quite a bit more expensive than that CruWear Manix XL, is it just because it's new?

    I wish Benchmade would release more knives with Dymondwood scales. I’d ask you guys if you could do an exclusive model with them like you did with the Pakkawood Spyderco line, but they don’t really have any models suitable for the look. Well, maybe the Fact if they removed the holes in the handle.

    Just a suggestion or maybe a wish. I’d prefer you demonstrate the knives in two distinct sections, one fixed blade, one folder, I always skip the folding knives and I’m sure there plenty of folding knife fans that skip the fixed blades, it would make life easier for perspective customers.

    The Tahoma is trying way too hard. I'm personally not a fan of gigantic choils - I like me a practical sharpening choil, but the ones that are designed to choke up on… call me crazy but I like to have my fingers on the correct side of the fingerguard. If you want more control, do away with a giant choil and bring the edge of the blade closer down. Second thing is that ridiculous wirecutter cutout compromising the strength of the already slightly narrow spine. How many of us are going to be doing trench warfare anytime soon?
    To me by far the biggest winner in terms of bang for the buck is the CJRB Nova, at least for EDC. The compound grind is beautifully done and very practical. Great looks, lightweight, deep carry clip, and a decent steel. It's just all win.
    Fun little observation: the MKM LOV texture pattern on the scales is the same design (but in monochrome) as the infamous carpeting from the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining'.

    Why are liner locks still used on knives over $100? The liner lock is the weakest.

    • @lordquenntillieusiii9250
      @lordquenntillieusiii9250 Месяц назад

      If you're talking about actual lock strength you're wrong they are stronger than most button locks
      Liner locks are used for a reason it isn't about price they simply offer the best opening action because they have a real detent. Frame locks are the same but with the downside of if you put pressure on that lockbar that blade ain't opening

      @@lordquenntillieusiii9250 back locks are better

    • @burchie1224
      @burchie1224 Месяц назад

      Because they're easy to manufacture and the money they save on the lock they can use on better materials elsewhere in the design. Also the strength of lock styles isn't quite as important as they're made out to be since in most cases locks on EDC knives will never be tested anywhere near their breaking points.
