Just so you know the famous "orchestral hit" sound that is ubiquitous on electronic keyboards is not a fake hit. It is a direct sample of the opening hit of Stravinsky's "Infernal Dance" from The Firebird.
Here’s a suggestion for another analysis series, two actually, either Carmina Burana by Carl orff,or Dvorak’s 9th symphony, both of these are ones I frequently listen to but surprisingly don’t have many in depth analysis series like this. I would binge either of those videos I’m one go,I love them and would love to see how you would do it. Love the work dude 👍✌️
I might be weird, but I always sort of analyze Mars as being in G minor and sonata form, with the second theme being the chromatic trombone line in C major--and the third theme being the horn calls (though more used as possibly a variation of the original ostinato). Venus too, just without a development section; the Bb minor second theme (notated in D# minor?!) is just repeated in Eb minor instead. The form feels like a favorite of Schubert's slow movements too--listen to the 8th B minor symphony. (i haven't watched the full video yet, but i'll give my thoughts after the full vid)
HE'S BACK! AND WITH A THREE HOUR BANGER!!!!

That would be epic

@@The_Xylophone YES!!!
Wow this video is super huge, super massive. But wow what great content, I learned very much
I will be keeping track of my various comments here:
The trombones in mars sound so menacing, and you can tell that the conductor totally leans into their trombone-ness.
Unbridled rage mentioned
I need to play at least the last part of mars with a big band.
I am very enlightened, thank you!
