I'm a legal citizen, and this issue NEVER effected me. I couldn't care less about this particular "protection." It's a waste of time, effort, and tax dollars in court costs. Only those who are born here. The jurisdiction clause primarily excludes the children of diplomats from other countries who were born here. The Constitution is quite clear. The Courts will have difficulty overturning what the Founding fathers intended. Amending the Constitution is a job for Congress and, if I recollect for 75% of the States to approve.

Only those who are born here. The jurisdiction clause primarily excludes the children of diplomats from other countries who were born here.
The Constitution is quite clear. The Courts will have difficulty overturning what the Founding fathers intended. Amending the Constitution is a job for Congress and, if I recollect for 75% of the States to approve.
