Was glad to hear you plan to have a career with horses and plan to have more technical training. He is going to be a great horse after your done with him.
Me too. You are a natural!! Get some related qualifications like chiropractic etc and you will have a great career ahead of you along with your training!!!❤❤❤🙌🏻
Oh Becka it’s already showing how much Poncho is coming to trust you. That look he gives you when he needs a bit of reassurance is priceless! Great job girl! Loving your channel!!!
I had an elderly neglected neighbor horse in the meadow next to our old house... I did the best I could to do for him without crawling over the fence and taking over...ribby, half starved, long cracked out feet, no buddy in the pen with him... just a mess... and his owners would lecture me when they caught me feeding him on the sly.. claiming he was on a special diet because he had bad teeth... (honeysuckle vine and saplings being so much easier on a senior horse's teeth and digestion).. Grrr. He absolutely would have nothing to do with a spray bottle... I used several different tricks to get fly dope at least on his face and neck.. Biotin, Vit E, the B complex, Collagen perhaps... I'm sure their needs for hair is about like ours is. I had a pretty severe hair loss episode, and that's what my doc told me to take. I miss my old next door buddy... I called him Casper because he was white. it wasn't his name, but he came to the fence every time I was out with my birds. So glad to get to watch your channel Beck.. Relax into it, you're good at what you do, you have good info to give people that they may not know... and therefore, they will give you their attention... Just be yourself, tell about your students, and let the passion shine through. You'll be a showman like your dad before you know it. Poncho already looks TONS better... Can't wait to see what you do to dress that 80 ft tail of his..
It's interesting to know that he's right "sided'. Love that you're really identifying your strengths and developing those skills. It's said, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
Welcome to You Tube Rebekah, the best of luck with your new channel.....I look forward to you Poncho and Brice (Bryce) and Fraulien becoming our new You Tube sensations.....
What an absolute sweetheart. There isn't a mean bone in his body. I don't know I thought Classy was stunning, but Poncho might have her by a nose. Congrats on the new channel Bekah.
Great start Bekah..Poncho was good, bearing in mind it was his first bath with you.. Coconut oil rubbed into the base of his mane will stimulate growth.. leave it in, don't wash it out.. also add omega 4 fatty acid and copper to his grain..I'm going to enjoy watching your journey together.. 🇬🇧💕🙏✝️👍👏🐎🇺🇸
He's such a sweet, sweet little guy. And he understood pretty quickly how nice and soothing that water must be on a hot day with flies. Rebekah will soon have him swimming at the water hole, I bet!
I'm So Excited For You Becca... You Have Your Very Own Channel Now... I Will Be Watching, As I Already Know You Are A Very "Awsome" Person... May "GOD", "Bless Your Every Adventure" 🙏🙏🙏...
Hi Becka from Scotland in the UK. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. You are great at explaining things. He definitely trusts you. Look forward to seeing how he progresses ❤
Even underconditioned as he is, Pancho is absolutely stunning. I'll admit that I was sad at first that he had been gelded, but now he can be a much better candidate as a trainable, rideable horse. If he had remained an intact stallion, Rebekah would have had a REAL project on her hands! All things considered, things have worked out for the best. I know that B12 helps with hair growth--check with your vet.
I think your horse is gentle, patient, very well behaved, and he seems to enjoy the bath. It will be exciting to see what you do with him. Congratulations on your own channel!
The way he flinches and tries to get away when you put pressure on his back makes me wonder if he needs a chiropractor. I know you will take the best of care of him. You are wonderfully gentle and knowledgeable. .
Hi ! Great to hear you're going to do chiropractic and other equine procedures. When you had said college before I was thinking about how it would interfere with " horsey " pursuits. Combining them is brilliant . Poncho seems like a nice horse .
Bekkah, you are going to do fine with a new horse and new You Tube channel. Welcome, have fun and good luck. Poncho's got a pretty head, big cheeks like an Arabian and gorgeous eyes.
You have got A promising career with horses. Your dad has taught you well. Your great grandfather would be very proud to see the trainer you have become! Enjoy your videos as much as your dads.
Rebecca: You did a great job today. You handled the task of bathing while speaking to us at the same time in excellent fashion. I think your channel will be wonderful, and I'll be sure to tune in often. Your voice and demeanor are very soothing to me and help ease my anxiety. Congratulations on your new channel.
So proud of you Bekah!! When you do what you Love 💕 you will never have to “work” a day in your life!! Thanks so much for sharing with us! I look forward to All your videos!!
I really enjoyed this video. Poncho probably does need chiropractic care and massage therapy. He did so well! Also, I've used a combination of oils to help with mane/forelock/tail growth and conditioning, as well as on sores and fetlocks/hooves. It is equal 1/3 parts: neem butter, castor oil and coconut butter. I make it in small batches and put it in dark amber glass jars. Then store it in the refrigerator (no preservatives). I rub it between my hands first to liquefy it and massage it into the area and comb it through. Poncho's days of neglect are over! You are wonderful.
I am so glad that his owner was able to see his way clear to surrender the horse. I know that had to be hard for him. But I also know that Poncho is now in very good hands! A tip for helping with growing out the mane is to give him biotin supplements. Just be aware that it will cause his hooves to grow faster as well. 😊
Seeing Pancho with JR: Are you sure he's a 3 year old? He looks really small. Seeing Pancho with Rebekah: Oh, he's normal sized! LOL the JR effect strikes again.
I didn't know that horses were that mean to each other. I am glad to hear that his mane will grow back in. Glad to hear about your decision on college. You will be great with horses!!
@5:11 Rebekah I’m here via your parents’ channel and have subscribed!! I love how gentle you are with these horses. You’ve got quite the level head and kind heart that training horses (animals) requires. I must add I’m currently battling gallbladder issues that have had me lose 35 pounds since March, unable to run my tube feedings from the pain. I cannot explain how incredibly weak one feels going days, weeks and even months being malnourished. It breaks my heart that Oliver, Nattie, Fräulein and Poncho have, and are, experiencing that extreme level of weakness and fatigue from malnutrition. I know, from watching the other channel the past few years, that you’ll get these two babies gaining weight and feeling stronger in no time! They’ve got such sweet, sweet spirits. May Jesus continue to guide you and bless you as you take on this new endeavor 🥰💜 (just a thought, what about spraying the brush with fly spray and brushing it on since he’s scared of the spray?) @18:32 😂 reminds me of my 3. They keep me laughing 🤣 I’d maybe trim his mane to the same length where it’s worn down and leave his forelock long. This way it grows out evenly 🤷🏻♀️
Poncho is beautiful. Excellent education choices too. You have a bright future ahead and a wonderful family to support and teach you along the way. Bravo! 👏 ❤
For his mane, there is a product called Mane-ly Long. It is amazing! Lots of people in the Rocky Mountain Horse community use it, especially those that show
Over the past few year I've see you grow into such a beautiful, confident and intelligent person. As far as growing back his mane, I think some extra good nutrients will benefit. Food like high protein alfalfa and omega fatty acids should help a lot.
He’s too cute to train and then just get rid off. Keep him for yourself .. as everyone is saying , coconut oil, jojoba oil, castor oil is exceptionally good for hair growth, a mix of all of them will give him a good start , couldn’t believe when I switched over from your ma & pa that you were 6.45k already , good luck with everything ❤
Oh, I have a thought. Hibiscus tea is beneficial is promoting hair growth in humans both internally to drink and to spray on before shampooing (leave on a few hours then shampoo)... So, I wonder if doing this for Poncho would help his mane grow back 🤔
He did very well for his first bath. He is already such a pretty color and when his mane grows back he is really going to be stunning. He also seems to have a very pleasant temperament because even though the bath scared him he didn't react violently. I can't wait for more updates on him. Also I love the career focus you decided on, you have such a calm and soothing nature so I'm sure that will be a great asset in those fields. I am really enjoying your videos!
A big thank you to your mom for her videography and editing talents! You and your dad are sure going to be keeping her busy! I think she deserves to be taken out to her favorite restaurant and given a bouquet of her favorite flowers and lots of hugs and kisses! She sure is a gem💖
Love the name of your channel! Poncho is a very striking horse and it'll be interesting to see how his color changes over time. Love seeing glimpses of Brice doing his own horse chores as he will also have his time to shine.😊😊😊
He seems to have a very sweet nature so once he gets some training and gets exposed to different things, he'll calm down and and that sweet disposition will shine through. He has such pretty coloring too. I really look forward to seeing his progress. I think both Beckah and Poncho have quite a bright future ahead of them! 🙂
The horse I used to ride and lease all the time LOVED baths! He always drank out of the hose, even when I was just filling a water bucket for him! Poncho drinking out of the hose reminded me of that, except my boy Skeeter always liked to squish it in his mouth and make fart noises! 😂 Poncho is a really pretty coat, and he has really kind eyes. I think he's going to make someone very happy when you get done with him!
Sorry it's a buck not a mare
What a difference five months make. He looks terrific now.
I think Poncho will be beautiful when he’s all greyed out and has a full mane!
Rosemary and mint " tea" cooled and sprayed at the roots stimulates growth
I love watching neglected horses being rehabilitated and coming back to full health ❤
He is going to be so beautiful once his health has returned. He sure is in good hands with you Bekah! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Becka it’s already showing how much Poncho is coming to trust you. That look he gives you when he needs a bit of reassurance is priceless! Great job girl! Loving your channel!!!
I absolutely LOVE his coloring!

I love Pancho's color, that grey dappling on his barrel is really beautiful ❤️ Definitely looking forward to seeing how this cutie does in training
Rebekah, you are a smart and patient trainer. Here's wishing you continued success in your activities.
he's gonna be a stunning horse - he's already so pretty
It's interesting to know that he's right "sided'. Love that you're really identifying your strengths and developing those skills. It's said, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."

Poncho is already a beautiful horse. When he gains weight and his mane grows out he will be magnificent!! You are a natural horsewoman!
I think your horse is gentle, patient, very well behaved, and he seems to enjoy the bath. It will be exciting to see what you do with him. Congratulations on your own channel!

Awe Bekah! Love your humor at the end. 😂😂😂
Emory, you are a great wife, mother and teacher. God bless you and your family!
Yes boys are messy 😅
He looks gorgeous now. His shine and you can already see him leaning into you with trust.

What a sweet boy. You chose well. He will be a wonderful horse for some lucky person when you have finished his training. Bonus that he's so handsome.
Poncho you are doing a fantastic job of allowing Rebecka to give you your bath.

😂😂👍👍
I didn't know that horses were that mean to each other. I am glad to hear that his mane will grow back in. Glad to hear about your decision on college. You will be great with horses!!
Apparently he rubbed his mane out when he was in a round pen, sticking his head out for grass outside the pen.
He was so good, he's a sweetie ....
Very pretty colouring. Interesting that you said he will lighten up as he ages. You are very good with horses.

Brewers yeast in their feed is really good for getting their mane to grow.
Enjoy watching
