  • One last video from my trip back in 2022. Here we have a Peterbilt 320 Heil DuraPack 7000 collecting recycling in Arlington, Texas. One thing that took me by surprise was that its was left hand drive. Granted this was after I filmed the LHD Rapid Rail in Carollton, however being from the west coast I'm not used to seeing LHD on non Rapid Rail ASLs. Thanks to awesome driver for letting me grab some footage! Hope you all enjoy!

This truck is fast!! These Heils are super rare for Republic since this arm type is not available anymore. They are always fun to watch!

This truck definitely moved haha. I believe it’s McNeilus that makes a version of the 7000 arm but originals are always the best. Glad you enjoyed!

Odd that they chose green of all colors to be trash, you'd expect it to be Republic Blue. Seeing this just reminds me how good of a truck the Heil 7000 was, really wish they still made them. Awesome work Stevie!

I always find it weird to find a 7000 thats not an ACX or Mack or anything old lol. The Texas yard has some great stuff. Its weird, I havent seen a 7000 with a hopper cover in forever. Do you know how many of these are in the yard? Amazing video man!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! I don’t know how many of these they have left, however I can only assume they’re all spares as the drivers told me they were supposed to get rapid rails after Carrollton got theres

They still have quite a few of the 7000s, at least a dozen that run regularly or as spares. Arlington has been getting MRU ZRs that are still LHD haha
