its funny, with the image of siffrin holding loops head post-battle, winning gives you the mental image of siffrin reaching down, with loop on the ground, but losing gives the opposite, of siffrin reaching up, holding loop up.

They really give you a gut punch for losing an easy fight against the secret boss. Even comically underleveled the fight isn’t that hard as long as you’ve learned the combat system. Probably why I had such a hard time finding this video.

It's actually even harder to lose than you think, because you can't be under-leveled. Upon beginning Act 5, your level is set to max. On top of that, you can't switch the memory you have equipped, and the one you have in Act 6 regenerates you every turn. It took multiple tries before I was able to lose the fight

@@EldritchGriffin I remember my act 6 level being set back to my act 4 level? I definitely noticed not having Rock Bottom in Act 6 and this fight because Siffrin never reached level 80 and thus never unlocked it, only learning the skill existed afterwards when looking things up.
I do remember being stuck on the regen memory for this fight as I did try and change it before entering. Mildly annoying how act 5 and 6 have set memories which are far from the most useful ones, but I get why narratively they didn’t want you to just equip enemies run away in act 5.
If it’s somehow possible to reach this fight without reaching level 52 I think you would lose, but I’m pretty sure there are way too many mandatory fights for you to avoid leveling up to at least 52 since you have to fight every boss a couple times. Definitely would make the fight less of a pushover if you arrived at the minimum level though.

@@viviblue7277 Upon further research, it looks like Act 5 sets you to level 99, and Act 6 brings you back to your previous level. Weird!

@@EldritchGriffinIt’s so they didn’t need to balance Act 5 in case you speedran there. Would be annoying to kill a bunch of Sadnesses if you were only level 53 or so

@@james1311na its implied that loop is actually the siffrin from start again: a prologue, (or atleast that's my reasoning), where siffrin can only get up to level 53
then my brain forgot the number and decided 56 sounds about right
