Can you believe people hated Luka when he was first introduced?. Never judge a new character when you haven’t had the chance to get to know them better.
I didn't think Silencer would be this early. Luka still proves to be one of the best on here. And this is just the beginning, our boy is gonna be amazing this season.
Honestly, I was hopping that you would become angry at Hawk Moth for daring to akumatize Luka, but it was funny to see you loving his Silencer persona (except for the talking hands). I have to say that moments like this one has caused me to reconsider my ship. I am a total Adrinette shipper, but Lukanette is like... my hidden pleasure.
@@centy4897 That is only one side of it and it's mostly because Marinette can't control her emotions towards Adrien and Adrien can't possibly see the advances of another girl that is not Ladybug. However, when we take Marinette's "creepy" behavior towards Adrien and Adrien's fixation on Ladybug out of the picture, we get to see a total different side of the ship. In many occasions we've seen Marinette and Adrien acting like a healthy couple, even if they are not one... yet.
I love the Silencer episode so much, not only because of Luka my lord and saviour but I love the villain idea too, he becomes akumatized solely to get justice for Marinette and his band. The fact that Ladybug lost her voice made this episode more interesting and also psychologically toturing that man with X's voice was cruel yet satisfying, one of my favourite moments AND the confession at the end was very wholesome 💖
I never would of though of a LED mask, but now I want one. It would be rather fitting as the voices were all different colors when they came out. The mask could do multiple colors at once when combining voices. I am afraid this show does have issues with the age of the writers, as they don't always consider what kids would do in this day and age with modern technology.

And after those two we have one of the best episodes of the season that is like a big slap on the face to us Miraculers (one of many).
I have a bunch of favourite epidodes this season, and Silencer is one of them. Look, I'm not a Lukanette shipper, but I LOVE Luka as a character! And as much as I ship Adrienette, I have to admit Luka's confession was extremely sweet! I love him! 7:31 He spelled out I ❤️ U with his hands! And while I am a bit sad that you aren't gonna be watching Oblivio next since you're watching in production code order. Like, me and literally everyone watched Silencer and then Oblivio right after, since imo they fit well together making a perfect pair, it's better you're watching in production code order since the order I watched it in had some issues (mainly because of Gamer 2.0 being in the wrong place and the stuff about the Guardian not being introduced to Hawky yet). But looking at what you like, I think you'll quite enjoy next episode!

I should say that I totally prefer Marinette(Ladybug)/Adrien(Chat Noir) ship variants, BUT this episode is one of the best in the entire series imo. My favorite character is Kagami, but Luka is so close to the top, he is just SO F AWESOME, that I can't regret even for a second that Marinette may like him back. I know how it all will end and I'm REALLY sad about it. I mean, of course, I think Marinette and Adrien should be together, but.. maybe not right now? Relationships between Luka and Marinette could help her SO MUCH. He is the guy who could help her understand how it is - to love and to be loved, to be confident with her feelings, to stop that weird obsession with Adrien's schedule and stuff. So many problems could be avoided. You see, even I, who almost never accept any "non-canon" ships, would love to see the main one be postponed in favor of Luka. He is too good.
I think Bob was to cheap with the costumes and XY should of lost points for them. Like they look half baked or just plain weird to the point where it shouldn't be doing him any favors, even without comparing them to the originals. What was he thinking with those shoulder pads!? They look like diapers. If this happened even as much as fire years ago it seems likely Kitty Section might have their own RUclips channel and could of posted it already, meaning it would have the date on it, which would likely be a while ago. Even if they posted it that very day, there hasn't been enough time for a half decent knock off to be made.

I love Luka so much but I also feel like he gets some of the worst writing in the show. Not like character assassination writing but worst writing in the sense that he feels like he's nice and that's it. He likes music and that's it. He likes Marinette and that's it. He cares for his sister and that's it. He feels like he has little to no personality and it sucks because I want him to because if he had a more fleshed out personality, he would probably be the perfect Miraculous character (which admittedly isn't saying much but still). Glad you enjoyed him tho!
You judge him too harshly and shallowly. I don't know if you've watched season 4, but that's where Luka was really developed. We got to know his relationship with his father and we got a very important moment of Luka with Marinette / Ladybug. But even before season 4, Luka was better written than many of the other characters in the show. Better than Nino, Max, Kim or Sabrina for sure

I love him but not writing a character with a developed personality that you can destroy is not the same as writing a good character. I feel almost the same about Juleka where me thinking she's a good character prior to S4 isn't necessarily because she's actually written well but because she's got a decent personality and stays in the background too much for the writers to focus on her and ruin her. PS maybe not great to say I'm judging Luka shallowly and then immediately say you don't know if I have the context to not judge him shallowly
