We in Lebanon grown up on this kind of movies too!! First Hercules then Xena then superman than batman and Robin and the blond girl too forget her name then Tarzan (Brandon Fraser)....
I'm a little torn. I liked Christopher Reeve as Superman; probably because he was the first Superman I was ever aware of. But I also like Dean Cain as Superman because...well look at him. Oh, the choices!
@magicneonpeace They cant close the box cause they have to get him close to death as possible. Then they can close it, and let his body slowly come back killing the virus that was inside him. I agree with wanting to close the box, it was sooo wrong to see superman in pain
+Grayson Brown Sorry it was NOT Kryptonite lipstick. This was the episode "Home Is Where the Hurt Is", where Clark was infected by a Kryptonian virus, and only way to cure is to stop his heart with kryptonite
I loved that in season 3 and 4 the drama and romance increased, the writing and the acting was on point. This scene and the end is perfect, and this episode has a great directing and writing too. Great great show. Best of all is Teri Hatcher, she is an excellent actress.

I'll let for you to learn by yourself, it's getting annoying, cause as I said I don't need to proof to you, but if you are so in doubt keep searching. This was the one where the woman had a Kryptonite virus made. They sprayed him with it and it made him sick. The one with the lipstick was earlier in the series season 1 or 2. He was in the hospital.

@@kevins.butler3402 It was based on an already known treatment. And since only Kryptonite can kill Superman, this was the only way to do it. Sam warned them that he had never done the treatment this way before.
the kryptonite was inside him. Some girl kissed him with kryptonite lip stick on and in order to kill the kryptonite inside Clark, they put a whole bunch of it next to him to draw it out
No, he'd been infected with a Kryptonian pathogen, a germ that he had no resistance to and because it was from Krypton it probably was also empowered by yellow sun radiation and weakened by kryptonite.
Intergang infected him with a Kryptonian virus that had been all over his spaceship that he had no immunity too since he left Krypton as a baby. This was the controversial way to kill the virus, by bringing Superman's body close to death to stave out the virus.
He is 1/2. The myth that Dean Cain is 1/4 Japanese came about because he said that he's 4 ethnicities...I think Japanese, French, Welsh, British or whatever. That doesn't mean that he's equally all 4 ethnicities. Roger Tanaka, his birth father, is definitely full Japanese.
Actually he's 1/2. His birth father, Roger Tanaka, is full Japanese and looks it. He's half. Dean Cain looked fully Japanese when he was a little boy. There's no way that he can only be 1/4 Japanese. Richard Gere & Chad Michael Murray are 1/4 Japanese, and they look really full Caucasian. Dean Cain looks half Japanese. You can tell that he's part Japanese. That means he's a halfer, not a quarter.
To bring the body close to death so it can't support the virus anymore. The real trick was pulling him back to life afterward. What isn't shown is how Lois, Jonathon and Martha were nearly being killed by a microwave with a seizure device in it. Superman sensed trouble and raced off even if he should be taking it easy.
I don't remember the exact details--watch the episode--but the sickness that he had required him being placed on the brink of death so that he could fight it off after being restored. In computer terms, Superman needed to be rebooted in order to get rid of the virus.
@@najmaashiq7964 There wasn't Kryptonite inside of him, just a virus from Krypton. The kryptonite was used to slowly kill Superman to starve out the virus.
I hated Lois (or more how Teri Hatchet played her) after season 3. All the humor the character once had seemed to disappear. After Lois found out Clark's secret and they proclaimed their love for each other, it seemed like the show lost its humor as well as the chemistry between the two leads. Teri seemed to be phoning it in the last 2 seasons. She had a perpetual scowl on her face
Well maybe it's me but I laughed many times in season 3 and 4. They just worked more the romance and difficult themes but Teri was better than ever, acting impeccably and even with the haircut in most episodes gorgeous.
