  • Fearless ninja cat takes on the challenge of catching a swift squirrel! It all begins when a daring squirrel, full of confidence, approaches the cat and starts making chirping sounds, as if trying to provoke the feline into a chase. The cat, with its sharp instincts and lightning-fast reflexes, immediately springs into action, launching itself up a massive tree in pursuit of its prey. The squirrel, however, proves to be just as quick and agile, darting up the tree with ease. The squirrel came very near to the cat making chirping sounds, to provoke him.
    Despite the cat's best efforts, the squirrel's speed and agility keep it just out of reach. The cat's determination is impressive as it climbs higher and higher, but the squirrel's experience in tree maneuvering allows it to stay one step ahead. Eventually, the cat realizes that this chase might be in vain, but not before showing off its amazing climbing abilities. In a smooth and effortless motion, the cat climbs back down the tree, displaying the grace and agility of a true ninja.
    The cat climbed up and climbed down the tree very easily ! The way the cat effortlessly climbs up and down the tree, navigating the heights with confidence, is a testament to its remarkable abilities.

    You could see, near the end, when the cat suddenly looked down and thought to himself, "I think that I am getting a little too high here. It's time to get back on the ground." That is exactly what I would do as a child. You just climb up the tree, getting higher and higher and then, when you turn around and look at the ground, you suddenly realize how high you are and decide it's time to get back on the ground.

    My cat once caught a squirrel. Although I didn't see how he managed to catch it. I saw him staring at a squirrel under the tree and next thing he had a dead squirrel in his mouth. He was like a maniac for some time and din't let anyone go near him. Like he has done a lifetime achievement. This means squirrels can get in trouble too if they become too cocky and careless with cats.

      squirrel psychology is fascinating, they're social and chase each other up, down and accross trees. They can easily evaluate other animal skills are tree climbing. This squirrel tried to get the cat climb as high as possible in the hope that it would fall. When faced to humans however squirrel seem to know that we have superior intellect and fear us despite knowing we can't climb trees. I have chased squirrel in the forest and as long as you find on which tree they are that is enough to make them umcomfortable and they will keep changing trees as if we will cut down the tree they are on.

    I think the squirrel/chipmunk has babies because it is so offensive to the cat and tries to distract it from them.

  • @Lioninthenight

    Cat can be aggressive on the tree. If it falls, the cat has a way of spreading itself out like it's flying. It knows how to break its fall.

    Not sure where this was filmed, but I would call that critter a chipmunk; it's in the squirrel family. Squirrels have double-jointed rear ankles, so they can ascend and descend with comparative ease, compared to the cats clumsy descent. Note the squirrel family predator alarm call: 1) Face predator, 2) vocalaize, 3) flick tail.

      It was recorded in Kerala, a state in South India. It is an Indian palm squirrel / three-striped palm squirrel (Funambulus palmarum).

    I wonder if squirrels know that those tail flicks are highly provocative to cats.
    Cat reads that as "Effue, I'm gonna kick your ass"
    Squirrels are pretty aggressive so smack talking a cat wouldnt be a surprise

    How can a cat be both cute and cruel at the same time! He often plays his prey to death

    • @Jduude
      @Jduude 8 лет назад

      I know! They look so cute but I hate it when they kill animals, and then never eat the animal. This is why I like dogs better.

    • @broadbandislife
      @broadbandislife 8 лет назад

      Because "cute" is a superficial value judgement that only has any relevance for humans. As far as the things below them in the food chain are concerned they're just another unholy terror whose _raison d'être_ is to kill and eat anything smaller than themselves they find in the bushes.

    • @hoangdong11
      @hoangdong11 8 лет назад

      I remember I saw my cat ate a mouse once. He looked totally wild. I think cats' "cute" appearance is to make their prey think that there's no danger from them. When my cat catched a bird, he stayed still like a statue and then leapt up to the air for the bird.
