I think you must be happy with the way the steel shot performed. We are the same here as to steel on waterfowl, but when I use my muzzleloader I can use lead shot.Still a good bag for the day. Thanks for sharing from Australia.
Dwain the eley 3s are good mate used them on ducks lucky the prices rise has gone up a lot I bought a 1000 eley zeniths a couple of years back and not used them but I got them before the price rise good shooting mate
Hi Dwain as from today I have told my farmers if they want crop protection then they would have to pay half of the cost the cartridge price other wise no protection, all the pigeon shooters I know about 50 in my county has said the same. Someone is making a lot of money out of cartridges its a sad state to come to this but many of us shooting doing crop protection have been doing it for 40 plus years it got to end some where what is your opinion please.
I’ve got a couple of Farms that are willing to give me some cartridges for helping with the pest control others say I’ll get someone else in to do it .so it’s a sticky wicket Keith . A old farm manger, he’s now left the farm he use to by me 2 thousand cartridges a year plus rifle ammunition to help with the fox control and Rabbits. That stopped with the new guy arrived .
Was dozing off earlier see this was coming up so got a second wind was going out myself today but though I’ll go tomorrow instead this has got me fired up thanks guys & im on steel all the time now really has advanced
I’ve been using steel for over 20 years in the foreshore wildfowling. Now steel has come a long way. I’m killing birds more or less at the same distance.
What do you pay for Steel where you are ? Here we have never used (the last 30 years) anything but steel. Currently switching to bio degradable shells as well so no plastic wads.
Excellent sport in that wind. Thanks for posting.
Thanks bud
Cracking bit of pest control as always, thanks for sharing your days out 👍🏻

Hi Steve , I had them recommended to me . So took a chance and found them very good .
@@washwildfowler
No doubt they will cost more, it’s just like copper it’s an excuse to make shooting more expensive mate.
Can’t wait 🤞
Welldone chaps keep up the good work
Thanks 🙏

Thanks Kirk pleased you enjoyed it.
@@MELLYBOY58 I’ve been using the eley vip steel .
Good shooting mate, is it the same or better using steel? And do you have to up the size shot at all?
Hi Murray , I’ve been using steel now for wildfowling for over 20 years . To be honest I love it . You’ve just got to know it’s capability’s .👍
Nice video again am also thinking about moving over to steel for Pigeon shooting. How does it compare to Lead?
I’ve been using steel for over 20 years in the foreshore wildfowling. Now steel has come a long way. I’m killing birds more or less at the same distance.
Muy excelentes lances de cazerias amigos 👌👍
Thanks
Mind blowing shooting!!
Thanks
Another great video and good shooting. About to move over to steel as well. What choke were you using with those 7’s???
Hi Jim , it’s a Carlson choke
Great vid again lads
Thanks 🙏
Great video as always guys BTW were did you get that net please
Stealth net from eBay. 🙏👍
Top class buddy :)
Thanks
Didn’t really rate 7s mate but you’ve just shown they do the job. Never can go far wrong with Eley.
I was a bit dubious about the. Rich but to be honest mate they killed well , I’ve no worries about using them on inland Ducks .👍
Probably fine for splashes, closer birds. Wouldn’t want to use them on the foreshore though mate. Let me know how it goes.
Is that the browning maxus 2 you use
It’s a Beretta A400 👍
Just brought a maxus 2
Are you forced to use steel? I’ve just gone from gamebore 32g 6 to fiocchi 28g 7.5, saves about £80 per 1000 carts.
No , not forced to , I eat & share with family & friends most of the wildfowl I shoot 👍
steel cartridges are so cost prohibitive its unreal mate
What do you pay for Steel where you are ? Here we have never used (the last 30 years) anything but steel. Currently switching to bio degradable shells as well so no plastic wads.
They sure are .
@@ljp200 I Normally buy my foreshore cartridges from a mate who loads normally spend around £5-6 hundred a season on steel cartridges .
🇪🇨🇪🇨👍🤝
Hello again Dwain , I will get intouch about buying steel shot birds from you , I will get your number from Mr Depear
Ok John .
