    I think you must be happy with the way the steel shot performed.We are the same here as to steel on waterfowl,but when I use my muzzleloader I can use lead shot.Still a good bag for the day.Thanks for sharing from Australia.

      Thanks, I’ve been using steel on wildfowl for over 20 years now . Steel has come a long way since it first came out . 👍

    Dwain the eley 3s are good mate used them on ducks lucky the prices rise has gone up a lot I bought a 1000 eley zeniths a couple of years back and not used them but I got them before the price rise good shooting mate

    Hi Dwain as from today I have told my farmers if they want crop protection then they would have to pay half of the cost the cartridge price other wise no protection, all the pigeon shooters I know about 50 in my county has said the same. Someone is making a lot of money out of cartridges its a sad state to come to this but many of us shooting doing crop protection have been doing it for 40 plus years it got to end some where what is your opinion please.

      I’ve got a couple of Farms that are willing to give me some cartridges for helping with the pest control others say I’ll get someone else in to do it .so it’s a sticky wicket Keith . A old farm manger, he’s now left the farm he use to by me 2 thousand cartridges a year plus rifle ammunition to help with the fox control and Rabbits. That stopped with the new guy arrived .

      Hi Murray , I’ve been using steel now for wildfowling for over 20 years . To be honest I love it . You’ve just got to know it’s capability’s .👍

    Nice video again am also thinking about moving over to steel for Pigeon shooting. How does it compare to Lead?

      I’ve been using steel for over 20 years in the foreshore wildfowling. Now steel has come a long way. I’m killing birds more or less at the same distance.

    Didn’t really rate 7s mate but you’ve just shown they do the job. Never can go far wrong with Eley.

      I was a bit dubious about the. Rich but to be honest mate they killed well , I’ve no worries about using them on inland Ducks .👍

      Probably fine for splashes, closer birds. Wouldn’t want to use them on the foreshore though mate. Let me know how it goes.

    Are you forced to use steel? I’ve just gone from gamebore 32g 6 to fiocchi 28g 7.5, saves about £80 per 1000 carts.

      What do you pay for Steel where you are ? Here we have never used (the last 30 years) anything but steel. Currently switching to bio degradable shells as well so no plastic wads.

      @@ljp200 I Normally buy my foreshore cartridges from a mate who loads normally spend around £5-6 hundred a season on steel cartridges .
