Fucking love this performance. Such a wild, intense attack in the vocals. Makes the song even creepier and more untamed. The vibrato in the vocals from 2:40 - 3:00 makes it feel so ominous. I think the album's solid but it's a let down compared to their raw, lo-fi sound on the early demos.
their demos are legitimately from another planet. the album was good as well, better produced, but like you said it lost that edge. I still think it retained its originality. though. I love when people bring up the early team sleep demos.
I always thought Chino had the most crazy vibrato ever in the best way. It's actually hard to mimick exactly the way he does it. It's not a traditional vibrato
