Maleficent and Mark Twain finale were filmed during the 9:00pm performance.
Lion King segment was filmed during the 10:30pm performance.
Seems like Fantasmic is having it rough these days.
Not shown here is:
Mickey not reappearing on the bottom stage during the finale of the 9:00pm performance. He remained atop of the Tom Sawyer's building for it's entirety
Rapunzel missing during the romance segment of the 10:30pm performance.
"C-Mode" of Maleficent battle scene being utilized for the 10:30pm performance.
Things happen, and Fantasmic is still a great show! The "D-Mode" Maleficent battle is different than what we're used to seeing, but this show is still great. Let's hope any required maintenance is done... and that the dragon returns soon!
I hope our dragon comes back next year for Disneyland's 70th Anniversary

Sometime sometimes or most of the time, they are not honest and what they promised do not always come to pass or do not work. Forgive me and excuse, but they have been dishonest a lot lately. Sorry.

Most of the pyro has gone since a misfire in July. They have to repair the launchers.

This was a "show critical" where Park Ops forced them to have a show despite the awful condition simply because of the amount of dining packages purchased

Sometimes I wonder if she just had to use the restroom. It sounds silly, but you know that feeling where you have to go out of nowhere? Maybe that’s what happened 😅

I was there that night! Really one of the worst shape I have ever seen Fantasmic in. Really disappointed.
Same here! There were lots of effects missing. Can’t lie, the lack of canon shooting during Peter Pan felt empty! 😅

Who is Mickey fighting?! An invisible antagonist you have to have somebody up there even if it’s maleficent not in her position but being at least be on stage something to supplement the show as it is. Just Stop Disney quit killing a classic! Put the show on a break till next summer.

They're prepping for dragon install next week, so a lot of show staff is diverted to work on prep for that

@@coasters_bgw No way… I think that might some “imagination”. 😅 If they’re actively working on something on park property it might be the repair of the pyrotechnic effects. The dragon just seems to good to be true.

I just love seeing Disneyland's Fantasmic in absolute shambles. For years, every stupid Disneyland snob has trashed our version at DHS and now we have the only Fantasmic in the entire world that still has a dragon, lots of pyro in the finale, and now a Maleficent. Lol. I love it!!
