    The route at 28:35 is a slog, especially on a gravel bike. Fun though. I believe it's an ancient route that the monks used to take from Gisborough Abbey to Rosedale Abbey. Great to see you riding in my local area! I missed this upload.

    I think this adventure is my favorite one so far. The moors have a special kind of beauty. The drone footage really showcased it perfectly.
    Especially love seeing the old ruins. So much history.
    Keep climbing. Keep smiling.🤗
    Thanks again.

    Great video, I holiday in the area once a year or so and your experience mirrors mine. One minute your on fantastic double track and the next the bridleway your wading through knee mud that is meant to be a bridleway. I recognise the trail at 5.45 it must be the worlds narrowest bridleway but a least there was something to follow on the ground.

    Looks like you did a bit better with the weather than when I was up there a few weeks ago. Bit bleak in a thunderstorm! 😬

    Josh when you stocked up at the coop where did you put your bike? I always worry about my bike being taken or bits being stolen? Nice bit of single track on the Sondor 👍. Nice gravel too. Thanks for yet another great edit.

      I just leave it and be quick. Generally speaking im stopping in pretty quiet places. So you can get a feel of whos around.

      Ask if you can take the bike in the shop or get a security to keep an eye on it, if they have one.
      Try and go to the shops early when there is less people about and your not standing in a queue for a long time at the tills.
      Have an idea of what your going to buy in the shop before you go in so your not wasting time in the shop looking.
      Ask an older trustworthy looking person to keep an eye on your bike while you run in the shop. Still lock it incase they wander off lol
      This is what I do anyway, you can reduce the chances by not leaving the bike too long.

    How do you get on just camping, I’d love to do it but worry about getting the ‘Oy you can’t camp here’ in the middle of the night?

    • @KeepSmilingAdventures
      @KeepSmilingAdventures  2 года назад +3

      That just never happens really, just select your spots as remote as possible and set up late. And if you did actually get caught just be polite and move on.
