Agree. I was about to write this but Allah gave you opportunity to do it before others. Words like girlfriend are negative words. There is nothing wrong in saying someone likes someone but to imply western filth on those that were honored by Allah to see and believe on the Prophet is too much.

1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah
2. Regret the sin we did
3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (This Dua'a)
4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again

Welcome, O Marthad, come tonight and stay at our place.' I said: 'O 'Anaq, the Messenger of Allah has forbidden adultery.' She said: 'O people of the tents, this porcupine is the one who is taking your prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah!' I headed toward (the mountain of) Al-Khandamah, and eight men came after me. They came and stood over my head, and they urinated, and their urine reached me, but Allah caused them not to see me. Then I went to my companion (the prisoner) and brought him to Al-Arak, where I undid his fetters. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I marry 'Anaq?' He remained silent and did not answer me, then the following was revealed: 'And the adulteress-fornicator, none marries her except an adulterer-fornicator or an idolater.' He called me and recited them to me and said: 'Do not marry her.'"

Tell me that you are not serious! Is it a role model the one who rejects Allah's love? Grow up! This love story did not have a happy ending because the man did not accept Allah's creation. Who is the woman in this story? A non-muslim woman! Why did the man punish her by leaving her and rather choosing a life of loneliness and pain? Can you tell your heart not to love? Try to do it and see what happens! Who created that woman? Allah! Who is the love? Allah! What does this tell you? She felt rejected. His life was not in danger because he was protected by an invisible force and that is Allah. He ran away from fear because that is what his ego made him believe that he would be killed. The woman simply triggered a past life memory in this man when he was killed because of a betrayal. And because of this trauma, he himself felt betrayed again. This happened because of a conflict between his emotions and ego. And the woman represents all the women who have been abused by muslims. For you as a man is hard to understand my words as your heart is blocked. Why? Because you backfired at me by pointing at the woman's actions and defending a man. Strongly advise you to visit women shelters for you to see the emotional impact of one's actions. Let's say, you love someone who is the opposite of you, what you gonna do? @@ivetabombalova3933 We are not against oppressing women in Islam. Women are the companions of Men and fulfill our hearts. We love them. They are our Mothers, Wives, and Daughters. They need emotional love and care. However that does not mean we are willing to compromise our principles of sleeping outside of marriage. If that woman chose to accept Islam and believe then she could have spent the life with this man. But she didn't do that and preferred zinna (unlawful sexual means). Requires a better caption and presentation, it maybe the issue of English not being the 1st language of the caption maker or something else.
In my opinion this caption and story line is misleading, the life of many Sahaba were different before they embraced Islam, this is one of them, and the consequent events.

What an exemplary Muslim, his submission to the Will of ALLAH and his obedience to the command of RASULALLAH. Ashabas as Hazrat Marthad are highly respectful but unknown warriors of ISLAM. I request and welcome a series on the many of such Ashabas.

So I like a devout Christian girl, and we've been friends for 6 years now, I came from a conservative family, and we follow ahlus sunnah, I grown up with sirah nabawiyyah and sirah shahabiyah, reading Qur'an after maghrib everyday for the past 14 years, attend Ta'lim couple days a week, but strangely I became attached to this girl since the start of this year, I kept searching for reasons and dalil for me to justify my relationships until I met this video.
I cried really hard, something inside my heart had just broken, my heart torn into pieces.
I searched about theology, and I read lots of quora about different views on different faith until I reached the point where I began questioning Allah (Allahul musta'an), but there is nothing that made sense and nothing parallel with my heart.
This video is what I needed, there is a reason this video came to me, may Allah forgive me.
Is it wrong if I pray for Allah to give her hidayah?

I say that to say Im not going to lie I got interested in Islam because my soulmate is Muslim. We aren't together physically but we have a strong undeniable connection. As I learn more and more about Islam I love the way Muslims love and revere God. So have faith. If it's meant to be it will be. I hope it will be. What a beautiful thought to imagine reverting to Islam and Allah blessing me to marry my soulmate...I just want to hope for a second longer ❤ but if I don't that's ok Islam and just loving God period is the best thing life has to offer

Stupid title.. very misleading for our younger minds!!! It implies that the sahabi was commiting zina while being a Muslim and a sahabi of Rasulullah SAW when this was not the case. The relationship the sahabi had ended when he became Muslim and migrated and although he later sought Rasulullah's SAW permission to marry he never went back to that relationship. I think you have used other borderline misleading and unwise titles/pictures in some of your other videos. Wise up my brother.. may Allah SWT guide us all.

It was really easy for the sahabah to sacrifice her girl friend. Because Allah SWT sent a meesage particularly for him and he experienced the company of the prophet himself. If he were in my situation, that could have been an acid test for him.
If I would get a message directly from Prophet, I would be ready to do anything & everything. Those Sahaba's were extremely lucky.

The story of a companion of (SAW) is always a guidance and a lesson and most of how merciful Allah SWT is no matter what you have done if you sincerely repent your lord forgives all your shortcomings
Life is all about the lessons. So what do you want to repent on? That you fell in love with a non-religious person? Didn't Allah create us all equally?
Be careful because this love story has been passed on to all of you muslim men and muslim women as this man rejected love which the woman represents. In other words, he rejected Allah's love as the woman is a reflection of Allah's love for this man. And the love lesson will continue until the day, a brave muslim man will come out and say, "I love this woman, and no matter whether or not she is religious, different nationality, race and colour, or different social status, because Allah sent her to me to teach me to always follow the voice of my heart because that is where Allah's love resides." So I advice to all of you to forgive this man and many others like him for walking away from Allah's love. As his actions have impacted all muslim generations who were born after he passed away. Therefore more and more muslims will have to face this love test of falling in love with a non-muslim women or non-muslim men and vice versa. Until this day nobody throughout history was able to pass this love test. Allah is crying!
