Don't promote JLCPCB. Nowadays they are providing very poor quality pcb for Volume production and if we report Quality issues and they are not ready to care about the complaints.
Ok, so no comment on the previous questions/statements, but anyways this is about a 10kw lf inverter, egs002 based and 48v. Using an amorphous core, I am making windings at correct ratio. PRO TIP, old crt tvs have the guide coils, these are insulated individual wires for, in my case, using at high frequency, and using for low loss in skin effect. These are like litz wires. But they are substantial. And really the right length. They can be doubled or tripled. The only thing is soldering through the nasty individual wire insulation. SO, this is THE CHEAPEST way to do it. NO buying expensive copper to find your transformer isnt optimized. It is thinnest insulation, for best and tightest location to the core. Its already ready to go. You just need 2 or 3 scrap tvs. Free, ANd the cores are affordable, mine was 15usd for the "8kw" version, mine will over saturate at 10kw with efficiency tradeoff, but the wires will have very low loss as the tv coils I am using are overspecified. THe primary is center tapped 45ish turns and the wire is probably 8 ga. for 240v it can do many many amps, at such a short length (the samsung 20 inch tv has a loop about 10ft And the secondary is 2 wires of 5 and 5 turns in parallel, and the gauge is probably close to 5 or even 4.5 ga. The wire length is 20 inches per. So its going together nicely, I will test it when it is made and not so wet, cold and nasty. The losses for copper, not even accounting yet for skin effect advantage, would be LOW like .15 percent which would be about 250 watts at full power which will not cause problems because the thing can radiantally cool at that wattage, and it can be in the path of air flow from cooling the inverter mosfets so it helps for no added complexity. WE just need a board that can take the toroids mounted directly on board, and inductor too, so it all is one neat package, Should even have 120v or 240v connecting points at the least. Just isolated, and secured in place. Make a nice 3mm thick board so its worth more. Its intrinsically safer and the added cost is absolutely minimal and so worth having. Soldered connections for the toroid wires, and output tabs, with the feedback paths built in for the feedback egs002 balancing. The switch can be placed on board, and a small digit display can loop and read out the battery voltage, output voltage and current. 3 selectable button readouts would be super nice, not nessesary, but a luxury, Worth having. THe complexity and cost is actually very low. The board also has a mounting spot for a fan, SO just a small bracket, or heatsink mount and super long term durability fan. Oh and it needs a place for a heavy duty fuse on the input, and a breaker on the output, well that can be on the panel or omitted. I think the overall cost should be about 400 dollars all complete, as mentioned. 3mm board, same as chinese lf 20-24 tube versions, just add display, solder holes for right size amorphous core on bottom or better to the side in line with heatsink, add the feedback, add the switch, add the fuse holder, add the ac hookups. and that is all there is to it. Really, cost breakdown is closer to 300 usd, I think that would be a very fair price. Think also about updating the mosfets too... ANY COMMENTS????
ZX7-400,428, 630 transformers are amorphous and high frequency with multiple insulated primary and secondary conductors. RIGHT amperage, turn ratio, turns probably PERFECT for 220v applications, and for 120x2 it can get a center tap. Tell me what you think and if they work! Itd be cheap and easy, and EFFICIENT How great!
I have seen in most of your projects you are not using EE cores , but ETD cores. The core shown, used here I think is a ETD49 core ? ( which is much more powerfull than EE core
Checked it 15 years ago. Even made small 100W PSU. Sure, interesting, but not a game changer. You can reduce a Cu volume but need to same reduction of frequency. May be, useful for the very high power app, close to MW range.
The question is a max frequency. These days frequencies go above 1MHz, devices and transformers are tiny. 20x30 planar transformers with PCB coils can easy handle 500 Watts. But number of suitable core materials are limited unfortunately PS A plastic core cover is a no-no thing
What if you used a larger than specified toroid and larger conducting wires??? Would a 100mm amorphous toroid work for 5kw continuous, 28vdc to 120-120? Still at good efficiency? It would be an upgrade from a square laminated transformer, driven by a egs002 board 200a.

Im an electrician, and always viewed ur channel because its educational..
How i wish i could have 1 of that made inverters..
It's my opinion that 2% more is a good result, this mean less heat on components! Thanks a lot for share your update
Can you provide a link to acquire those cores?
2% is cool + less noise and heat

Could you give us the link to buy this ring core
Excellent knowledge sharing keep it up...good design ...
Where to buy this pcb and all materials?? Other RUclips channels teaching us where? Thanks

what is the no-load dc input current of your step-up circuit with amorphous core, compared to the ferrite core?
could the output be made to AC240v ?
I finally got it. I'm gonna wrap it up

Não se usa inversor em sua carga máxima, normalmente 50%, as vezes muito menos a depender do horário, potência máxima somente em picos por pouco tempo
