The moderators were awful. They never fact checked Kamala. They attacked Trump with past quotes and incidents, but never on policy. They were clearly favoring Kamala. It didn’t help matters.

The cameraman made him lower in the frame and her taller in the frame. It’s the subtleties! It was three against one, and Kam is smooth as sin
They also changed the subject when she was cornered. Like with the 13 fallen soldiers. She spewed some bs and the moderators switched the subject. He say that they can leave the debate and go fix the border right now then they switched the subject again.

Remember... as reported on by legacy, Harris prepped for 7 days straight prior to this debate. She was coached by an entire team, studied all his previous debates, memorized soundbits, practiced attacks, and even hired a Trump impersonator to do "mock" debates with in practice. Of course they knew Trump cant help but defend himself, so she baited him constantly. You listen to her during the debate, and she sounds like an actress that's memorized lines, fake emotions, and is spitting it back out.
You can see she was "prepared" to spin every question back against Trump, except for when Trump said "I don't care" when reffering to her race. You see in real time, her brain sputtering, and random wordsalad spewing until she lands on another memorized soundbite line of personal, previously-debunted personal attack.
I don't think Trump was prepared as Harris was. Because Harris prepared an abnormal amount. She's a prosecuter and she played to her strength, ranting "Orange Man Bad" at every question.

Trump honestly couldn't get anything in to attack her because he constantly had to be the one to fact check Kamala since the moderators weren't going to do it. He also didn't help himself with taking every piece of bait, but overall, he did a good job considering it was 3 on 1.

@@CoolGuy-ur8yqRefuting Kamala when it didn't matter. That's the bait. When she criticized his crowd sizes, he then responded about her crowds. He needed to let it go and press her on her policies. That's one example, but it happened all night. When your debate opponent puts an attack on you, you have to consider if it's more valuable to defend it (there by weakening your opponent's character by showing them a liar) or make an attack of your own. The times he chose to defend were not good ones, as it wasn't things that mattered or had proof to show her as a liar. They were qualitative assessments/opinions, so proving them wrong doesn't do much. They took his time that could have been spent more effectively.

I never understand why the Republicans bend the knee when it comes to debate. They let Democrats pick the moderators and it becomes three on one. Only thing people have short attention spans now this debate will be forgotten by the weekend.

Donald Trump, as usual, went in overconfident and unprepared. No doubt his managers told him to prepare, but he told them, "I already know all there is to know..." It's one thing to know a thing, it's another to be able to explain it in a powerful, convincing, and (cohesive?) way. Very sad loss for Trump; he'll never again have such a huge audience of low info voters. Lost opportunity.
