Haha fair enough. Definitely worth branching out and doing as many different series as possible. Every one offers something new and different that they kind of specialize in
Haha thanks! It's bit easier when I'm not red lining and actually racing on these GoPro fun laps. You should hear the audio of the people in front of me 😂🤣
It shouldn't be, as long as you can swim just a little bit. It's a jump in, swim out type of obstacle. You only need to swim maybe 10 feet to the edge. If you're unable to swim or not comfortable doing so, you can bypass the obstacle in open waves. There are lifeguards on staff at this obstacle
They change up the obstacles every race. They keep the Staples like sawtooth, but swap out the other ones and also change the course and order of the obstacles every race which is nice
That's in every waiver that you will ever sign when you register for every and any obstacle course race. They (the company) has to from a liability standpoint. To my knowledge there has only ever been 1 death during an obstacle course race since it's existence and that was a race over in the UK a year or two ago due to someone who got knocked out in water and drowned. I couldn't even tell you what no name race it was
To put in perspective, my own gym states the same in our waiver to enter the gym. Companies have to do this to cover themselves as people are generally stupid and you never know what could happen. Short version, no, you most definitely DO NOT need to worry about this
Great work, I’m racing in Georgia this fall at age 15!
Awesome! Good luck 👊💪
I loved this POV. Racing tomorrow at noon. Thanks for sharing!
Good luck, kill it! 👊💪
Thanks for sharing. AWESOME JOB!!!! You made it look easy. I'm in Sept 7th in MD!!!
Sure thing, see ya then to get #SAF 😎
Impressed you got through Twirly Bird. I was exhausted by that point. Great weather that day.
It POURED during my pro wave haha so this GoPro lap was much much nicer and easier
I did my first Savage in Charlotte over the weekend! I love that race!!
Savage is simply the best. Hope to see you at future Savage races 🤘
@@obstacleactivist9741 Florida in November!
Great Video! I am doing my first Savage in a few days- this was helpful to watch LOL
Get ready to get #saf !!! Gave a good race and enjoy it
Nice job! And cool video
I'm about to race with my mum and I'm only age 12!! Hope I do well 💪😂
Have fun!!
lumberjack lane bringing back some bad memories
By far the mudiest course I have ever done
Haha yupppp. I was one of them during this lap. It was brutal by this time
Great work, I will tell my team about this race, it looks really fun.
Savage race is the absolute best in my opinion. Definitely worth checking out
Guarantee you will like Savage the most of those 3...unless your team really loves hiking mountains haha
@@obstacleactivist9741 We like all of it. Actually we love to hate it, lol
Haha fair enough. Definitely worth branching out and doing as many different series as possible. Every one offers something new and different that they kind of specialize in
Never seen anyone do a low crawl that fast. Wow!
Haha thanks! It's bit easier when I'm not red lining and actually racing on these GoPro fun laps. You should hear the audio of the people in front of me 😂🤣
Looks Awesome. Except the lumberjack. It looks like a different version of bumper cars, lol.😵😵
I want to do this but I’m a poor swimmer. Would Davy Jones Locker obstacle be a big issue?

Loving the beats in the first paht, I was fist pumping along the race haha
Yeahhhhh buddy
Nice video! 💪🏾
Thanks!
I hope to run this venue in 2020. I wonder how many Artax and the Swamp of Sadness people made on Lumbejack Lane
haha that's all i could think about on my fun lap was that movie
Great vid! What go pro accessory did you use to hold it during this?
Cheap head mount off of Amazon
If you can't complete an obstacle, are you eliminated?
Only in the pro division. Open it doesn't matter. You get as many attempts as you want for either division
I'm doing this one in the fall. Do they typically switch things up a bunch, or keep it similar to this race?
They change up the obstacles every race. They keep the Staples like sawtooth, but swap out the other ones and also change the course and order of the obstacles every race which is nice
I am always the only kid at the races
I see a lot of kids at races, they even have a kids race
I wish I could see how short people take on some of these obstacles.
I'm 5'6" and will be doing some more obstacle tutorials while I'm at the Boston race next weekend to post :)
I'm 5'6 3/4" and I'll beat a bitch. That thinks being taller is better. 💪🏽😎
I don’t get how you practice for this
For which obstacle or the race in general?
What’s the song
It's 3 different songs off if epidemic sound. I'll get the titles for you after Christmas, currently away visiting family
Obstacle Activist okay so like today is January 5th....just waiting for the lists of songs you promised 😜😜
So I read the waiver for savage and I’m kinda scared cause it said you can die is that something to actually be worried about or?

Just run the fucking thing.
