yeah, that is a GREAT tag line.
@@Ethelred5563 you know you will have a hard time with this as US corporations are global and own many foreign companies. Trudeau proved this himself when he said to boycott a U.S. company only to find the company was Canadian owned by Americans. 😂
American companies have faced tarrifs globally for decades and have bought companies in regions all over world in order to do business. Yet you don’t hear Americans whining about tarrifs other countries impose on us. Grow up Canada.

There was a very good reason why his casinos went bankrupt
Trump claims that filing for bankruptcy is a good business decision, does he think he is going to declare bankruptcy for the US and then start up debt free.
@OutdoorsMyLife Which my business law professor told us that once was to be expected but more than that you will pay more to borrow money. Trump did it 6 times!

Mass immigration has already done that

"It’s risky to be America’s enemy but it can be fatal to be its friend."
A long time ago the ex Australian prime minister Malcolm Frazer wrote a very informative book "Dangerous Allies" very clearly outlining the dangers of being tethered to the U.S. He was defence minister during the Vietnam war and from the conservative side of politics. He made it clear that the U.S. was at some point going to become a grave danger to it's so-called allies.

Excuse me : US companies have enjoyed open access in other countries for decades. That US governments have failed to spread the wealth created externally internally via taxation is expressed in $35Trillion US debt. 12% of the US budget is spent on interest.
I think VP Vance and leading members of the cabinet have to do an intervention with Trump.
Do they really care about the welfare of our country?
Vance is as bad as Trump and so is the Republican party. No one stopped him up to now... they're all cowards.

Vance is theoretically the VP but has less influence on Trump than Musk, who is the de facto VP.

The problem with a lot of comments is that they are not based on facts. The price of eggs is thrown around by both sides but people are not asking why this is.The poultry industry has suffered from a serious outbreak of bird flue and millions of laying hens have been culled. You cannot pick out individual items as there is always a reason.
And the Republicans blamed Democrats, implying that they culled them on purpose to cause problems for Trump.

It seems the Lords of Chaos are ruling the world!
Starting a trade war with the two largest trading partners is insane. Moreover, this could spark global havoc in this time of increased tensions between trading blocks and superpowers. In a future retrospect, Trump's moronic decision could be seen as a "Sarajevo-Moment" of global trade and an Economic World War I would follow, with casualties around the globe. Side note: Brexit turning in this situation from "not good" to "very bad".
As a Scot I cannot think of a single American made thing I would want to buy. Particularly foodstuff so I will now avoid all USA owned brands. Sadly Trump is also making American stuff such as Tesla cars a target for idiots to damage, working on the premise that people will be put off buying one in case it gets damaged.
Hopefully UK citizens can see what the purpose of Brexit was all along. We Canadians had NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) foisted on us by Reagan and the Canadian Conservatives in the 1980’s.
All American countries, excluding the US, could form their own free trade agreement.
We should start first to have the upper hand .
Mexico should apply an additional tax to any Americans who vacation in their country.

Trade between the US and UK is tiny in comparison with Canada and Mexico. Though both countries are amongst the biggest investors in each other's economies. Tariffs are always temporary, so decoupling from the US is a total nonsense.

No, if other countries are not paying their wayand expect America to pay for them, then its good to withdraw from it.😂
Just a heads up. The only time Article 5 of the NATO Accord was invoked was 911 in support of the USA. The reason the USA has put so much into other nations and funded security is for the purpose of pushing USA interests around the world. The world isn't going to come crashing down because the USA is out. Arguably the world might be better off.
4:30 - Clip this guy's rant for the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme in about years time.
The UK has 10% tariffs on everything that comes into the UK but if the US does it that's bad how is that right most countries have large tariffs on the US and the US tariffs mostly duty free some get 2%
It is not like that, U.S.A. had already tariffs on imported goods.
For example take a look at stell and aluminium tariffs between U.S.A. and European Union, and the deal made by quotas.
Biden in 2024 put new tariffs.
But that are targeted tariffs, not general ones.
U.S.A. has a 2.5% tariff on car imports, but a 25% (twenty five) on light trucks and commercial vehicles. The European Union one is 10%.
You have Trump that continúes to spread that VAT in Europe / UK is a tariff, when in reality is a sales tax paid on all car sales.
Tax cut for corporations and rich people.
Terrible terriffs on American citizens.
Just to balance the budget for Trumps tax deficit.

This guy is a complete idiot. Americans have been taxed egregious amounts since the end of ww2 where our economy has helped the world develop. EU can kick rocks.
What would happen if Mexico and Canada joined the BRICS group?
Mexico has an ace card to play, they don't have to sell their silver to the US they can sell it anywhere and it would be snapped up in an instant. The US needs Mexican silver if it plans to kick start it's manufacturing again and they especially need it for the only big manufacturing industry they have left - military equipment and weaponry.
