That album is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. It reaches into the darkest places of my mind, cuts, and spills out my emotions. Not many artists can do that to me.
The whole mix is rotating and pulling on my psyche, it's as if my astral body wants to keep diving forward into the mix, music and into the the deep! Such amazing stereo projections! Incredible...!
God, I love Clark's music... Clark is the only artist in the last 10 years or so to truly convey the emotions I look for in music, on purpose or not.. keep up the good work Clark, do what comes natural.. I love the dark stuff but your dance music is still better than most anything else out there of any genre..
This is one of the few music pieces that divide time to the time before one listens to and after one listens to it for the first time. And there are not much of these unique splits worth remembering nowadays.
clark, just started listenin 2 his music yesterday and i cant get enough of it! n had the same idea like this guy makin music with a piano and studio program but he perfected it already!!
Agreed!! Same here! Empty The Bones Of You changed me and moved me so deeply.I met Chris when he played in SF with Plaid and talked to him..told him he was a genius and inspiring to me and he was so shy/nervous, blushing and could hardly handle a compliment...sigh.
Yeah he's one of mine too, he's like the Brian Eno of our era. It used to be Aphex, but now it's Clark. He takes his music more seriously, no messing around, no gimmicks, no filler. Iradelphic is one of my current favourite albums. His genius is godlike.
I've spent the past couple of months looking for this song. The first time I heard it was on the Adult Swim channel during the Childrens Hospital and NSTFSDSUV new episode promos. Thanks! This ought to be extended.
Really looked for to the album but done nothing for me & took it back. Never thought I would take a Clark album back oh well look forward to the next one
Part of me hopes there will be another teaser track before the album is released... but then I know I'll just abuse it, too. That being said, I'm not sure what I think about the lead line (the staccato one at the start) though it is growing on me, and the texture overall is absolutely dreamy.
I don't know about that. Totems Flare had its share of messing around. Specifically with tracks like "Look into the Heart Now" and "Chill Out DJ". But, for me anyway, a good portion of RDJ's appeal is his willingness to parody the severity of his genre, his fans, and even himself. Clark has his own thing going for him, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I couldn't live in a world where I'd have to choose one guy over the other.
all amazing but quite varied. "body riddle" is quite similar to iradelphic, live drums, synths, great textures, "turning dragon" is hard as nails but warm raved up techno with great hidden melodies, "empty the bones" is practically ambient in comparison. "totems flare" is kind of a cross between body riddle and turning dragon with an unhinged flavour thrown in. "clarence park" is his lofi melody filled debut, with kind of scratchy
i know.... he's one of my all time favorite artists..... like you say..... ah well....wait n see whats next. To be expected now i guess as hes such an experimental artist.
@FatRoland Yep, Kenneth Clarke is one of Chris Clark's psuedoname's, which he uses when engaged in his political and law careers. Many people are cynical of whether there is any truth behind this however, often believing it to be an urban myth. When posing as K.C. he adopts a far more brutish exterior to affect fear in his opponents, often binge eating and cultivating voluminous eyebrow hair, characteristics not often noted in his normal appearance.
@thegmanyo body riddle? *clears throat*...... what about totems flare? and i dont understand why people have any doubts in incredible artists like chris clark. i bet this album will be as good as any others.
@MattHood Yeah, yeah. But RUclips compression is absolutely ATROCIOUS. I agree, the album version will be superior, but I feel like an idiot if I have to share a track with a friend and the only/easiest way to do so it some crappy YT link that sounds like utter shite.
It started with Ambient music, invented by Brian Eno from the 60/70/80's...Then Aphex Twin who revolutionized ambient by adding technological sounds( 80/90's)...You should check those two out if you have never heard of them before. I think that this kind of music where there is this uniqueness which makes it very artistic, because it can not be compared to other pieces of work. However a lot of techno these days suck badly, "Dum ts Dum ts Dum ts" for like 5 minutes. Clark however keeps the art.
Love Clark. The talent is unreal. Thanks Warp for uploading this.

What's the name of that album ?
@@cyprienmailhou3086 iradelphic

I've wanted to crack Portal 2, I've discovered a banger
Also try Tri Repetae by Autechre... it's like it was made for that game
I'm listening to this today 10 years later and it still sounds fresh and amazing. What a masterpiece!

This guy is surely talented....such a different sound he creates!
How am I just discovering this album. Love Clark.
simply wonderful mr.clark...
This is one of the few music pieces that divide time to the time before one listens to and after one listens to it for the first time. And there are not much of these unique splits worth remembering nowadays.
thats cute
Yeah i remember exactly where I was when I first heard it.

No matter what direction Clark takes his music, he always goes up.
Purely briliant, this song remind me some a glow up of my remembrance old good games of the 90's

You torrent often?

I have been lucky enough to hear the whole album. Can't wait for it's release. It is stunning.

is this a reference to Com Truise?
That's what I thought, although the sound is quite different from Com Truise
wutev9 it's funny because Clark tours with Com Truise for the U.S. shows for this years "Death Peak" album release.
If the album's sound stays this consistent, this could be my album of the year.
Heard this on the Mary Anne Hobbs show last week. Hooked me right away.
Thanks for the free download.
:) i just keep getting more and more stoked for this year.
Fantastic stuff! You're killing me with the 2-1/2 month wait for your album!
Looking forward to this new album - I can see it being a 2012 highlight!
Well Done Chris... Im still getting over Body Riddle. Thanks for the music
someone try doing a piano cover of this song
Oh my god you just gave me a genius idea thank you!
@@Uxcis Mate, we're still waiting on that cover
@@BitwigCraft so am I....

WOOT! HE'S BACK! HE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!
Warped out Synth`s, Melodic let chaotic, Clark triumphs again.
The one day I don't check his Facebook page, he releases a new song.... Why GOD? WHYY????!!!
Great song, pretty cool
Very, very nice.
Totally Eargasmic ! Can't wait your next album ! :D
clark, awesome as usual!
Ah Clark is back, I began to think he was angry with the music! That's a good news!
This should've been in the Terraria soundtrack.
Scott's Shots but it does not included here because he did not produce it
Part of me hopes there will be another teaser track before the album is released... but then I know I'll just abuse it, too.
That being said, I'm not sure what I think about the lead line (the staccato one at the start) though it is growing on me, and the texture overall is absolutely dreamy.
Clark is really good!
Holy Wow! Just this!

To everyone: Be sure to get the MP3 - RUclips compression ruins so many frequencies that make this track a real pleasure for the ears.

Portal 2...
@Bucketbot16 Dude I was feeling kind of down for the Megaupload takedown and then you had to remind me of BATalsdr...
GODDAMN
AWW YEA !!!

Day9 sent me
i feel like sitting on marry-go-round
This song helps me remember that time I traveled through the wormhole from pure spirit into material incarnation.
yeahhhhhhhhh!
@skethum anyone can say that on any genre, its a matter of taste.
@alecjahn also buy the FLAC album in April.. it's worth the extra few bucks
BOC vibezzzz :)
I bet the new record will be a bit relaxing, considering how hyper Totem's Flare and Turning Dragon were.
HOLY SHIT. YES. YES. YES!!!!!
@ootheca Haha, I still don't really see the resemblance, or at least not as much as you do. Both BoC and Clark are absolutely fantastic, though.
are all six amazing like this song? or are there 2 or 3 standouts?
in all honesty its the "next" musical art form... 80s = rock 90s = rap 00s = pop the future will belong to electronic music before we know it
@thegmanyo body riddle? *clears throat*...... what about totems flare? and i dont understand why people have any doubts in incredible artists like chris clark. i bet this album will be as good as any others.

I tried to shazaam this when it came on the radio and it got tagged instead as a Norwegian pop song "Ring Meg" by Gabrielle. WTF?
Why is that I always listen to Clark's music until it becomes apart of me? Been that way since Empty Bones...
@lisam805 lol I'm glad Clark didn't get assassinated int he great artist purge of 2000s. he;s a survivor
It's like the flight of the bumble 🐝 bee....except this time....he's dancing as he works!
Curious to see how the album turns out.
Very neo-cool
Loving this, thanks adult swim
nicenessssss
Came here after listening to it on The Grand Tour ❤️
Always imagined this as a backing tune to someone skating
seems this album will be more laid back than the last 2
Timeless. Is this a modern day Beethoven? Very possibly.
is this called Com touch because it sounds a lot like Com Truise ?
Day 9's song list rips AND slaps.
@grumpygramps23 When did I tell you how to behave?
Thank you Adult Swim and Shazam for bringing me here!
how many albums does "clark" have?
Some giants do not sleep!
You called it
Damn this track just reminds me of BATalsdr's channel getting taken down... still having withdrawals :(
spellbinding. just looping it over and over.
There is a musician called Com Truise so when it said Com touch it reminded me of him haha
AS bumps boy!
mmmmm reminnds me of good ol' pfm
