Islam’s treatment of anyone who isn’t a straight, male, Muslim, for instance. I’d be very pleased if that particular sticking point vanished. On the other hand, values such as, say, individual liberty and self-determination should, in my opinion, be allowed to spread freely - to the extent of overpowering contradictory local values.
Interesting fact.: There was a group of people, that kept fighting for weeks, some say, for months, in the mountains of Mecsek after the revolution was curbed. They were called "Mecseki láthatatlanok" which means "Invisibles of Mecsek". Their most memorable operations, were the killing of the soviet military commander of Pécs (hungarian city), and the attack against the police station of Pécsvárad (you guessed it, another hungarian city). Sorry for my english/typing, I'm still learning it. (And if anybody already written it below, I'm sorry, I'm didn't seen that).
To be honest what I love about this work is how even if it, fairly differing from the source material, it still feels faithful to it, and still feels like the original, just with a bit of a differing tune, instead of it being turned up to eleven and sped up massively for no reason,

Fun fact - Yuri Andropov, future head of KGB and future leader of USSR, at that time was an ambassador of USSR in Hungary. During the rebellion he was in the middle of Budapest. He was pinned down by sniper fire several times, and once somebody fired at his car, and after that he was forced to walk through rebelling city for almost two hours. That event changed him greatly.

It was an Anti-Soviet revolution. The "Socialist" part was secondary at best and mainly called that because the main guy they wanted to put in charge (Nagy Imre) was a party member. The citizens really didn't have any strong feelings for remaining socialist and would have probably given it up if it meant the Soviets fucked off.
No it wasnt organized by communists. Some reform communist toke part and some even led it (like Nagy Imre). But everbody was part of it like liberals and nationalists. And it wasnt just anti soviet it was anti dictatorship and pro freedom.

It was an Anti-Soviet revolution. The "Socialist" part was secondary at best and mainly called that because the main guy they wanted to put in charge (Nagy Imre) was a party member.
The citizens really didn't have any strong feelings for remaining socialist and would have probably given it up if it meant the Soviets fucked off.
No it wasnt organized by communists. Some reform communist toke part and some even led it (like Nagy Imre). But everbody was part of it like liberals and nationalists. And it wasnt just anti soviet it was anti dictatorship and pro freedom.
PLS reformulate the description cuz is not an anti-communist song but an Anti Stalinism song is different
