Sorry this is one of the "old" videos - without audio commentary and low resolution. I will try redo all the "old" ones in HD and with audio commentary. I ´ve reuploaded many of these "old" ones already in HD and with audio commentary. Head over to my blog for the complete listing.
You could do all kinds of testing and checking with this tool. just combine it with userparameters. You can make it as detailed as you want, or keep it plain and simple.

Yes please try. The most userfriendly software would be, in my opinion, Autodesk Inventor Pro. Runner up: Catia V5/V6.

Some time ago I tried Catia and I found it very old fashioned and clumsy. maybe I have to try it again

Do you think it's easier or faster in NX or in Catia?

In my opinion, I can do almost everything easier and faster in CATIA than NX. There are definitely some things which you can´t do in NX. But anyway we/you have to use the software which ourcustomers/your company uses.

But Inventor is not as powerful as Catia, NX or Creo, maybe even not as much as SW. Another I found that is nice is T-Flex
