    Hi Cory, I am from Maine, and we try everything there for Trout, Bass, Salmon, etc etc, and my personal like is, garlic salt & extra virgin olive oil. Three tablespoons of Garlic Salt, 8 ounces EVOO, soak the mini marshmello's ( or rubber worms) in that for a few days, and WALLAAAAA TROUT for dinner :-) Works great for Bass too.

      @@michaelrosebud that's awesome I'm definitely going to have to try that! Thanks for the tip!

    Will have to try this to save some $$. The stream trout I fish here in PA are quite finicky and I will probably half or even quarter the marshmallows which I wonder if it will make them more sticky. Seems like adding flour might take the sticky away tho. Thx for the video. May your lines be tight.

    Add cornstarch last it will keep marshmallows from getting sticky and does not hurt the smell attracts

    Can’t wait to try this! Could you mix the scent with a food color to blend easier? (Just more liquid to blend with the marshmallows.)

    • @corysurvival
      @corysurvival  2 года назад +2

      I'm sure you probably could but be carefull too much liquid will make the marshmallows too sticky to use, but it also depends on what scents you use some are greasy others are more wet and will make the marshmallows fall apart.

    Have you considered letting the marshmallows marinate with fresh minced garlic?

    Can you use the marshmallows with a bobber?

    • @corysurvival
      @corysurvival  9 месяцев назад +1

      Most definitely it will help keep the bait higher up off the bottom if the fish aren't at the bottom. For sure it's great!

      You can use a snap weight to also adjust it from the bobber to. A good hint is if you see a lot rising to the surface. And no problem I had to help! 😄

    • @corysurvival
      @corysurvival  3 года назад +1

      I haven't had one come off the hook yet other than with a bite and you go to set the hook. Kinda like Power Bait.

      Use bait hooks

    • @susanp.collins7834
      @susanp.collins7834 11 месяцев назад

      I saw a neat trick on a RUclips video. Fit a teeny weeny little spring from an old ball point pen to the shank of your hook - the coils of the spring clutch the bait well.

    Remember that a fish may have a keener sense of smell than a human. Look at sharks - they can pick up one drop of blood in an Olympic sized swimming pool. From a distance.
