I have a George A. Romero documentary called Document Of The Dead which was released on VHS by M.I.A in 2000. It's the only tape I have by them. Silvio Berlusconi Communications was an Italian company which was involved in production and licensing. It was set-up by ex-3 time Italian Prime Minister. My Castle Vision release of Fred Bassett also has poor picture quality but is better than no release at all I suppose as there is no sign of a DVD ever coming. Keep collecting!
@jolIypiratedonuts youtube removed the 15-minute time limit two days ago, if you go onto the upload page there is a box at the top telling you that there is no time limit anymore
Kaleidoscope was just a descriptive label used by The Video Collection for it's early animation/children's titles. Movie Greats was another label they used for older feature films they released starring the likes of John Wayne and Peter Lorre. I like the look of the old TVC packaging and they were incredibly important in the history of home video retailing in the UK making films affordable at £6.99. Woolworths and K-Tel were the originators of the range. Most titles were VHS-only. Cheers!
Man's Best Friend is a pretty good horror movie. The has great cast memers like Lance Henriksen who did the voice of Kerchak in disney's Tarzan he was also in th first Terminator. I also know Bradley Pierce is also in this movie. He also did the voice of Chip in disney's Beauty and the Beast.
@CinemaTouretteGuy I dont have the spreadsheet atm so i cant give an exact list but i remember Friday P6 had a trailer for Some Kind Of Wonderful and one other, Mans Best Friend had a trailer for My Life and a few others and Dodgeball had trailers for Sideways, Flight Of The Phoenix along with a few others and two ads for Maltesers. I think FD had a trailer for The Cell but im not sure (i might be confusing it with another tape)
@jolIypiratedonuts god knows why because all the modern DVD releases are 15 and there is a lot of gory violence, an attempted rape scene and several uses of the word 'fuck'
