How comes that you added the 50s ribosomes in a larger subunit to the 30s ribosomes in the smaller subunit and you got 70s yet if I try to sum them up I get 80 .what's the knowledge behind that
The S unit are based on the sedimentation of small, large, and whole ribosome. It is not a simple plus equation but the position of sedimentation in centrifuge.
Mrs: you wrriten in prokaryote Ribosome is 70s, the large is 50s and smaller is 30s now, 50+30=80s but in prokaryote we have 70s in Eukaryotic we have 80s, but you wrriten the large is 60s and smaller is 40s, now 60s+40s= 100s but we have 80s. where is the others 20s?
Svedberg units are not additive, so the values of the two subunits of a ribosome do not add up to the Svedberg value of the entire organelle. Also the rate of sedimentation of a molecule depends upon its size and shape, rather than simply its molecular weight.
The ribosome is made up of two words, “ribo” meaning “ribonucleic acid” and “somes” from the Greek word “soma” meaning “body”. Ribosomes are small granular structures made up of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and protein, present in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells.
Nice lecture. ..👌..very clear explanation mam👑
Thank you very much 😆😊
Most welcome 😊
Good facilitation ❤
Excellent presentation
Thank you.
Clear and on point
Outstanding

Thanks so much dear you explain clearly
My pleasure 😊
@@ahmadcoaching really this lesson take me ten hours not understood and i get you a clear and concise lesson💙
I am glad that this video was helpful to you. I wish you all the best.

Thank you so much 💕
This is my seminar topic 😃
Good Luck.
Thank you so much dear Ahmad Coaching :) Wow you're teaching very amazing way. Also you are very good drawing pictures too. :)
Thank you so much.
What is the function of rough endoplasmic
RER has ribosomes attached to it so proteins formed in ribosomes are processed in ER and transported to their destinations.
thank u so much ^^
You're welcome!
What is the definition of ribozome
The ribosome is made up of two words, “ribo” meaning “ribonucleic acid” and “somes” from the Greek word “soma” meaning “body”. Ribosomes are small granular structures made up of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and protein, present in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells.
How 60+ 40 80s
The large sub-unit sediments at 60s, the small sub-unit sediments at 40s, but the whole ribosome sediments at 80s, not 100s.
@@ahmadcoaching is it fixed like that?
@@shilviyarai9964 Fixed? sorry I didn't get your question.
