Beautiful story... THANK U SIR FOR UR SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY. GOD BLESS U AND ALL THE MEN N WOMAN THAT ARE IN THE MILITARY. May God Bless you and be with u all. And to all the family's that have loved ones in the military may God Bless u and give u strength and bring ur loved ones home safely. I have a son that served and when he was over seas and I didnt know where he was n didnt hear from him for days weeks or months .. it was so hard.. Prayers for each and every one of u.. Much love to u all. Congrats to the married couple May God Bless you and bring u many happy years together Amen.
My husband is a retired Marine and we had an opportunity to surprise our kids with a unscheduled break from deployment when he had to escort another Marine back to the states. It was wonderful seeing their joy of having Dad home earlier than expected. Mom's reaction was priceless, you two were awesome for sharing your special day like that. Lots of love in your family. Congrats and btw, love the dress and veil. You looked beautiful!
Beautiful story, thank you for sharing! 🤗❤️ And thank US Military for giving him the time for this event! Shows you have heart and know family support keeps our men going! 💞🇺🇸👍🏽
Everytime I watch this kind of videos! Makes me realize we are safe in this amazing country! So to all those who serve or have served ..thank you for your sacrifice! Thank you for your service! May God bless this United States of America!
Omg I loved this. I come from a Marine Corps family, parents served in WW 2 ,older brother ,husband and many of my peers in the Vietnam conflict. My husband actually wore his winter green uniform when we got married, icier 50 years ago ,unfortunately all are deceased now. Thus was just lovely it brought such great memories thank you....and btw nothing more stunning than a Marine in their dress b,he’s.
Sadly yes. While theyre out fighting life keeps going with or without them. It can be hard for them. Apart of you wants to pick up where u left off before deployment but the world continues on & it can be difficult sometimes to catch up on stuff. Its tough on families, always wondering, worrying if the next time they see their loved one it will be in a casket. Tough on our service members worrying about their loved ones at home. Few things in life truly tests anyone like the military But seeing videos like these really are great. And can show just how much that waiting is worth. These videos get me everytime. Seeing the joy makes every nightmare second of being apart worth it. Even if its brief
I may not agree with a lot of things, but as a granddaughter to two U.S. Vietnam vets myself and a friend of a few actively serving I will always stand behind the men and women in our armed forces.
We surprised the whole family with my youngest son coming home for my niece's wedding. He escorted my mother-in-luv (his grandma) down the aisle in her wheel chair while in uniform. A special memory for everyone!😊
Ok...this BRIDE ROCKS! In a world we so often hear of selfish brides all about me, my day, calling dibs on the month, some the entire season, or even the whole year -this bride was all about the MARINE. Well done Bride, you are so much more than simply beautiful!
GREAT MOMENT! May Gods love, good health and peace be upon all of you. Beautiful video! (Beautiful gown, had to comment on that too!😊) Thank you for your service, Sir. May God bless you, always. For the couple, Keep God in your marriage and trust Him. Congratulations! Peace, Lynne
When my sister was getting married, I was still in school and her wedding day was on a school day so I got to skip that day of school and personally it takes something every emotionally for me to cry, even when I am happy and when my sister was walking down the aisle during the wedding l literally couldn't hold back my emotions and was so happy that I was crying and even hugged her after the wedding ceremony was over. Then a while later my sister told everyone in our family that she was pregnant and my grandmother (Who I call Nana) saw the news, she screamed so loud and on August 18th 2018, I became an uncle at just 19 years of age to a sweet baby niece. Now almost 3 years later, my niece absolutely loves my father who she calls Pa Pa. She also absolutely loves watching my betta fish eat and she loves watching them. And best of all: she took her first steps (at least in my house with my parents since I have autism and can't live alone without help for things like monetary aid for example) towards me! And when she had a birthday coming up 2 years ago, I was at Walmart and saw a Baby Shark toy that played the Baby Shark song which she absolutely loves and I had to buy her that gift. When we had her birthday party after she opened what everyone in my family (except for me, and my parents knew) was all of her gifts, I go into our spare bedroom and grab her the gift I got her and surprise her with the gift and she was very happy when she saw it.
I remember in basic training a guy wanted to go home to his sisters wedding and the drill sergeant told him he could go to her 2nd wedding because the first one wouldn’t last. I tried not to laugh but it was pretty funny
We are stuck in holding awaiting mos school because it’s all backed up due to the corona virus and my buddy was denied going home to watch his kid be born.
More than likely it's not well in hand. He was recycled in boot camp and he requested leave shortly after finishing it. That's not a good start to a military career.
I can’t wait to see my recruit become a marine, and I cannot wait to Marry him as well. Him being away at bootcamp has been incredibly hard :( but I am beyond proud of what he’s doing. Mad respect for the USMC OORAH!!💙❤️💛🇺🇸
Haylee, Thank You for sharing your soon to be husband with the people of this wonderful nation. Please pass on a big thank you to your future husband for serving in uniform, he is now one of my brothers in uniform.
I love one chevron because he made and they made a choice, I love more chevrons because they dedicated themselves to it and stayed with it. I only had two but im proud of my two. TYFYS and Happy Days ahead for the bride and groom.
I think he was being held back. You can be held back if you don't pass something (test, PT, rifle qualifying) then you are put in the next platoon. Not so bad for a male Marine as new platoons are continuously forming. But when I went (1983) the next female platoon that was forming was about a month behind so if someone had to fall back you could be in boot camp a month longer!
beautiful video! my son was done boot camp (Parris Island) in Missouri for further training & was not permitted to come home for his grandfathers funeral.
@ Mr C, as former Marine I can assure you there are three ways to exit boot camp as a “Lance Coolie” 1. If you get hurt during boot camp and had to stay longer then six months, became the platoon guidon bearer and got time in grade Pfc, plus Lance coolie for doing an outstanding job as the guide. 2. Get promotion based on education and was in his contract. 3. Was the platoon guide and he also won a meritorious promotion board while in boot camp.
Cannot believe the Marine Corps let him attend a wedding when he was in Boot Camp. It’s not like a wedding just comes up. It is scheduled ahead of time. He could’ve waited until the wedding was over and then entrred Boot Camp. That would’ve made everyone happy
It was sweet, but better if he could have arranged to be the ring bearer and only the original ring bearer knew. Surprised all of them, not just the mom. But, do glad he could make his sister's wedding.
Speaking of not finding out until the last minute. My grandmother died on Friday evening (I was at uni at the time) but my parents tried to call my brother. When they told whoever answered the phone that it was about a death in the family he basically dropped the handset and turned it over to someone else. Comment was "noted". My brother says it wasn't until Saturday that he got called in and was told that he had Monday off to attend his grandmother's funeral. And take your greens because you're a pallbearer.
my son's going to come home in January to do the marriage ceremony for his best friend wedding I know how it is to wait to see if they get leave it takes awhile to get approved that Mom look like me for Christmas when I didn't know my son was coming home or not God bless all our servicemen and women and their families
I considered going to my little sisters wedding in my uniform, but didn’t want to draw away from her. Nothing against it, but I could never steal her thunder, happy they got the moment though.

Love it and I love the bride saying it made her day to see her aunt’s reaction. She could have been selfish that day but she wasn’t.
