What a beautiful ride- had no idea this one even existed! 7 years in WA state now and I continue to be blown away by the variety of topography here… great video- another to add to my “to do” list! Great story too and sound advice on getting out of those situations- totally agree on trusting your instincts.
I lived in Yakima on a farm and this was the only highway to Ellensburg at the time. Even watched them build the freeway that replaced it. Even hunted across the river with my dad and some friends from Packwood. I miss those days.
@@GreatMotorcyleridesWashington Been so long I can't say I do bud. I left Yakima in Dec. of 72 when I just turned 15. I have been through there once since and noticed it had changed a little. Even watching your video I seen it has changed quite a bit. The only thing I remember the most was the truck stop in Ellensburg since my dad always stopped there. And the tavern at the other end heading towards Yakima. Take care.

Man that’s a beautiful scenic ride
Indeed and I can get a bit windy and warm in the canyon.
I bet that road gets pretty hot this time of the year
It can, it can also get really windy in the canyon.
