I like the video, but the thumbnail with the triple rotary snow plow Is idiotic
Photoshop
Yeah photoshop is always very stupid
Why?
Well you must know the best Filip coz ur the train guy.
absolutely spot on mate
I just love snow, that would be my dream job driving one of those trains!!
I've seen the plow trains in museums but never seen one in action, this is cool
Just came across this... instantly transformed into a 10 year kid watching cool machines doing big stuff.
Same
The idea is fascinating, the engineering makes me anxious. So many improvements could be done to make it easier, faster and more effective. Particularly breaking the snow down before the train smashes pointlessly into a wall of snow, creeping 3 feet at a time.
Thats the life!
@@haventthoughtofanameyet6364 you make a great point, but I feel like they would've done it by now if it was cost effective
@@haventthoughtofanameyet6364 And just how do you suggest the snow be “broken down”? If you look you’ll see that that is exactly what the snow plough is doing.
Who doesnt love the power of these machines?
Those machines are so massive and powerful, you can get a real feeling of loneliness after they pass, especially in such barren conditions.
This shit too deep 💯
But who's keeping track...
Dude for real, sometimes I just sit at that tracks taking pictures of graffiti on the cars, but after they pass, it's like "well guess I'll just sit and wait for the next one," which is usually around 15 minutes. Or 10 minutes if it's 4:00p.m.
I love the power the engines have! Awesome
Really impressing !
The snow blower is f...n awesome. Or plow at high speed, looks like high speed boat on the oceans
O, the M62 or as we called it Gagarin in Poland.
The last one was nice ;)
i need one of these for my driveway
I need one of those for my driveway !
from Chile, thank you very much.
Wonderful video.
Очень интересные машины, смотрю с удовольствием
Очень зрелищно, особенно последний кадр!
I live near the old Jackson Street Roundhouse, now the Minnesota Transportation Museum. They have an old wedge plow with flanges (A “flanger”?) that is mighty impressive!
Trains are pretty much the most powerful vehicles on wheels. Nothing like a snowplow being pushed by something that weighs hundreds of tons and has 4 or 5 thousand horsepower.
Large equipment I believe got them beat out
@@jonathanpalmer228 No they haven't. If you need more power in your loco, you just add another engine! Large equipment, can't do that..😊
Look up mega cranes
@@TheMennoXDGood shout but the biggest land based cranes are fixed base, then crawler and then WHEELED, which is where this debate started.
@@armoris66 Hmm the mega cranes I've seen are on tracks on wheels.
Damn that's way faster than the steam powered one I saw yesterday! Am I going to get suggestions like this now? Awesome.
Hey! Get off my suggestion list.
I saw the same one yesterday too 🤣
I'm a newbie for this content, therefore I won't be on the suggestion list until tomorrow. 😳😁
Truly awesome!!!!
OMG the ending !
Thanks
I'm so grateful for you too I've seen things I never thought I'd ever see
Awesome! "Waves" of snow!
Completely Cool!!!
My Favourite was the Snow Plough train, that just came along, coupled up and Pulled the Stranded train Out! Brilliant.
Never saw this. Nice to see 👀 how its done
Trains are just plain cool.
Thanks for sharing beautiful video 👌👌👌
9:56 safest train ever :D
Spicy chicken [ GD ] nice joke but the ACS-64 aka the train in the vid is one of the safest trains in America
Many 2 thanks for v d o .From India.👍👍👍
Very cool, thanks.
Thumbs down false advertising. Using false bait picture that doesn't exist in video. Should I report this?
We're having unprecedented heat in the Pacific Northwest. So I'm watching videos of snow, and rainstorms. 😏
Wow what grunt!!!

Awesome job!!
Clickbait thumbnail!!...
The thumbnail is a Swiss steam powered one, but has been photoshopped badly to have an extra two fans…
Yes, I agree. The thumbnail was showing something primarily different from the bulk of the video. No fair.
Fortunately though, the video was pretty good, and I personally enjoyed it. Whether or not that redeems the publisher will ultimately be in the opinion of the beholder, yes?

awesome vid, thanks for uploading!
No snowmen were harmed in the making of this video :-)
However a few Frosty cold ones were downed after this.
That last one tho, pants shat.

I love the last train haha funny

The real "Snow Piercer".
I totally love to see the train's plowing snow 🌨️❄️.

The shear power of a simple wedge; physics at work!
Yes very cool. Fun to watch
It always amazes me that they never wax the plow blades so the snow doesn't stick.
The speed they spin probably flings off any stuck snow anyways. 😉
Try waxing a wedge blade at those speeds 😂😂😂😂
sure and the conductor could have a couple of ski poles out the windows to help push him
Et oui c'est du LOURD LOURD 🏅🥇💎💎 LOURD 💨 malade malade lourd
🚂🚂🚂 THAT WAS A GREAT VIDEO 👍🇺🇸 .
Мощь!!!
I've seen heat induction welding on electrified lines using the power from the overheads
On electrified rail lines could use the power supply to use a large heater
Melt the snow
Here she goes... all fine :) always on the track! 🙂🙃
Bom dia bom domingo
I wonder if i can actually surf on those wave of snow hehehe
Je regarde avec plein inspiration. Impressionnant.
Excellent. 💙 T.E.N.

Unfortunately the video does not show the tracks after the cleaning.

Awesome
Takes a Serious set of balls to run at speed when you have no idea what is in you path. Like the content but detest adamhenrys that use clickbate thumbnails.
Красиво! В смысле beautifully!

Now that's a snow plow. Wow horse power
This machine was creating an iceoclastic flow!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
Top!
Klasse 💪
Mr.Wilford approves of this video.
Brings the term being a snow blower to a whole new level
Now that was one hell of a rotary snow plow. I want one. Never seen a three bladed Rotary.
There is no three-bladed rotary. The tripple Rotary is a product of Photoshop. The original is a single rotary of the Rhätische Bahn of Switzerland. No rotary is bigger than the clearance of the track.
@@frankdaphuc6435 Ah, ' Pure Swiss Delight ' !!!!
Give them 150 years and they work out some serious tech.
@@fartsoundeffect5013 that's only done for switches, too expensive otherwise
Plow works best 👍🏾
Seriously, we in UK have got a lot to learn. All services are cancelled when there are leaves on the line or the wrong type of snow. We need vehicles like this to clear the leaves or the very few inches of snow that we do get.
Maybe you should ask Norway if they'd give England a good price on their entire rail system, y'know, used equipment.

Watching this with 12" of new snow outside here in northeastern CT

Don't mess around with plows and spreaders. The Rotary is the only way.
this puts into perspective how heavy snow is, it stopped 3 diesel locomotives which combined can probably handle 40,000 tons
Amazing, I wonder if they got stuck there
And most people forget snow can also hold water, making it heavier. I was expecting them to plow trough but didnt, so its heavy or sticky snow. It could also be friction of snow > friction of train tracks.
They should have stopped the train first and cleared the snow stuck in the plower. It reduced the efficiency of the plower and should have increased power gradually to force against the drag due to the snow. Although it is a regular thing for them and they know their way still I think. Also another solution would have been to reverse the train a bit and again go forward to gain momentum. They went for a third way and solely increased the engine power.
@@krishnamnagar4045 In some places a rotary plow works better. The snow is thrown way off to into the sky and it comes down away from the tracks. The Canadian Pacific has a number of them used to clear the snow away from the tracks.
Steel wheels on steel tracks do not provide great traction, it's equivalent to driving your car on ice. This is why stopping distances are so long for trains, they cannot brake hard without skidding wheels, which then makes flat spots and damages rails. Sand can be used to increase traction, but I've no idea how common that is done, or if it is practical to sand the rails for mile after mile.
I wonder if anybody could snow sure that hoop lol
so what is it making it that satisfying watching a train driving through snow? ...Who cares,...ist simply is ;-)
Wow 🍺👍
Nice trains, filmed with potatoes mostly.
VERY COOL 😎
This is why I live in Florida. Not much snow.
Whoa thats cool
Thumbnail thoughts: Nice! They finally figured out a way to keep the GTX 3090 cool.
How can the train drivers see to drive the train with all that snow flying?
It might be unsafe not to see the tracks.
Around 1:30+ the train plowing snow at a good pace reminds me of the movie Tremors. Instead of dirt its snow.
White Dirt !!!!
also Dune😅
Boa tarde
I don't want to be a zombie :)))
Only Charlie Sheen could blow through that much powder faster.
Great video thanks for sharing.
CHoo Choo ! ! !
3:35 that takes some SERIOUS power, tossing all that snow like that. Especially if its slushy. VERY impressive.
It looks (and sounds) like a Type Tb loco in Sweden. If it is that it's only a 12-cylinder 567 I think, a 16 wouldn't fit because it has a turntable in the middle. To compensate for the fewer cylinders and regain a few horsepowers they run it without a muffler/silencer and that gives it a fantastic sound, there's nothing like it.
Try this one, the title of the video is "Snow clearing Tb-locomotive Ange shunting yard, track 18 second run".
