It's hilarious I don't know how many of the players you caught they almost made it through the door like they were mid-stride, then Boom Frozen that's your ass
Cadmus Ridge Lancecap would give you a lance every time you used your barricade and get a kill, or when you are behind a barricade I am pretty sure you get a lance from precision shots and kills....something like that, I haven't used it much, but it seems like it would fit the build nicely...side note it is ugly AF though
Cryothesia 100% needs a duration on the LN2 burst , it's basically a kill clip perk so at most give you 7s to find the next victim, being able to keep it in the pocket indefinitely is insaaaaaaane
It used to have a timer, but that got removed. There's too many other things for Bungie to focus on rather than reverting a change made with 30th anniversary.
@@Daltnixit's dependent on your mentality. This is the glass half-full, where as the opposite is seeing the need for a kill as a downside. Killing SMGs is rare, let alone anything with more than 20 meters is laughable.
@Manstrual you definitely have more experience than I do using this loadout. but cryo has a faster ttk than most smgs given you hit your shots you should win. that's also why I also use a sniper. so I have something to fight at longer ranges. I definitely think there are better builds, but you can most definitely make this work in 3v3.
@@Daltnix whether or not most SMGs have an equal or slower ttk, you only need 20 range on an SMG to outrange it, as well as how most SMGs aren't used in competitive settings. Trying to shoot someone with a sidearm from 5 meters outside of damage falloff is an awful experience. Either way, it's usually a trade if you're perfect, but as soon as a fifth bullet is needed it's pretty much over against good players. If it's against bad players, it won't really matter what weapon is used, and Cryo would be better, but it's just not worth using when you need to be perfect to compete, let alone having a 5-6 meter handicap. It's not like it's a bad choice in trials, but perks that require kills to enhance a gun just won't help when fighting people who just point and shoot and have the best state of the weapon at all times. Too many ifs to be competitive against good players, especially with connection, but is fun otherwise.
The only advantage would be to have the ability to both freeze and shatter opponents when they're out of your sight line. Not so much with the Cryostesia, but a lot of stasis abilities can freeze around corners. If you're good with GL angles you can still hit them since you can see where they're frozen at through the walls.
That's me, GL is better for chaining sidearm kills to freeze everyone, but at the cost of having an instant kill weapon. GL allows an easy combo into a shiver strike for a diamond lance, and it's more aggressive, but over time gamers will see you as a one-trick pony and play against it. Sniper is more well-rounded, but it's really just preference and is dependent on the game mode too. Both are good.

I realized this after I started playing Stasis Titan. It's actually kinda busted if you know how to use it. Shatter damage is insane if you build into it and it can provide both ability energy and healing/overshields with shards. And if you properly use the super with synthoceps, its one of the highest damage DPS in the game. Everyone was pissy when that team of stasis titans was abusing trials literally just using the toolkit and got whisper of Rime nerfed. Stasis Titan is legit
NGL, getting frozen from stasis or suspended by strand is the worst thing in the crucible imo. There's just so many ways for it to happen, and the ease of looping them is ridiculous. Both are pure cheese and need to have massive cool downs imposed on them. As a fairly aggressive player, getting completely taken out of the fight by someone's single no aim needed button press is really annoying.
Yeah, but there are plenty of Zen users (cheaters) that enabled their anti-Stasis perk which prevents them from freezing beyond a tenth or a quarter of a second. I literally burned through a cold snap grenade and two charged melee attacks and couldn’t freeze a hunter in QP yesterday. Less than two minutes later, a freezing rift and another cold snap couldn’t freeze a titan at less than 2 meters. Quite a number of instances where the opposing guardians have no reaction to freezing pulses whatsoever.
@@sayjindefender zen, xim, and reasnow are hardware devices. They cannot modify the game code and only act as a controller. They can't prevent getting frozen. I do agree they're definitely cheating still, but it would take some type of software to prevent being frozen.

Behemoth gang shatter the world 🥶 My favorite thing to do in the crucible is shiver striking people of the map.
guess who's back
back again
stasis back

Daltnix... HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO GO OVER THIS!?!?!?!?! NO CRYOTHESIA!!! CMON MANNNN >:(

You just melee again right after you hit them with the charged one.

It's not worth it with Cryosthesia, just use a pulse and sit back. Pretty boring exotic if used intentionally, but it has other applications
Pair it with a trace rifle for a free lance. Don’t even need a kill

Pathetic
That triple kill! HOLY!!!
Is this a build you can take into comp or trials, or is this mainly for 6v6 since having multiple enemies helps to keep the cycle going?
I think this is a build you most definitely can take into 3v3 modes! as long as you get one kill, it makes for very easy kills after.
