Its situational. One one hand that position is strong because you can hold cap and torp anything that passes, on the other if the enemy goes wide with a Marseille, ur dead. It depends on overall positioning. I personally wouldn't do it with a gearing tho, I would put gearing on the wide flank so you can spot and get the most out of your torps.

People fail to understand that in this game to be good you need to invest time to understand the mech and how it works, and dont need to spend money for '' special gimics'' to be competitive.

Yup. I bought the legendary upgrade to use in Clan Battles. It makes Gearing a monster there.

it depends, look at what ships you have and who is helping, and make the best decision, remember don't need to rush it into a bad situation

Gearing is one of the best team destroyers, not so great as a solo, unless you find that rarest of rare, a team player in randoms.
