You forgot needle nose and a good set of vise grips... Ball peen and soft dead blow hammer... 1/2" breaker bar.
I prefer to use a combination old school wrench over the ratcheting, but that's what I'm used to. I bought a ratcheting set of wrenches and never use them; often times the ratcheting end is too big and gets in the way. They slow me down.

Snap-On impact sockets are the best, they have a flute that holds the fastener than falling down in the socket. Working in Yamaha/Kawi shop use JIS and got the Vessel (also Snap-0n) and Matco ones. Matco Ratchets 88's got rid of my snap-on ratchets. Everything I got is metric 99.99% only a few SAE sizes.

You need to learn and earn your tools. Giving a new guy power tools is gonna lead to him not thinking and just screwing up every thread he touches. Namely cross threading caliper pins, did that on my first couple of days to an aluminium brembo 4 pot caliper and had to replace it. It was like half of my weeks wage gone in 30 seconds. But that's how you learn care and attention.
