2:20 in and this is already one of the best videos on RUclips. Clear explanation, steady camera with good lighting. Wish every car video was like this.
I needed a video to show me how to get to the blower motor, mine is digitally controlled (speeds 0-7) and seems to be malfunctioning, I have to check the contact voltage. Cheers!

Hi Jari. I hope that everything has went well with your repair. Thanks for getting in touch :) Digitally controlled is fancy stuff! Sounds like you have a nice car there.

Sorry Eduardo. I live in Scotland and have never owned a car with air conditioning because it's too cold here. I wish you the best of luck though!

Unfortunately what it could be is that the fan bearing has seen the ingress of water and has stiffened up meaning you may need a new fan. The reason for this could be that the bearings are so stiff the power levels 1,2and 3 are too weak to spin the fan but 4 has enough power to do so. If that turns out to be the case in the end, you can refer to this video to help with the replacement. ruclips.net/video/IGwP2gwB4Qc/видео.html
Before buying a new fan though, I would check the things below:
You can remove the resistor and check the resistor. If the resistor has burnt out it should be quite evident as there will be damage and most likely burning.
Another thing to check would be the pins on the socket like in 4:52 of the video. If they are damaged, you may need to re-wire the plug or buy and new one.
If these aren't a problem and you have a multimeter or continuity tester, you could check the continuity of the pins for positions 1, 2 and 3 to make sure that the wiring isn't at fault. Sorry, I can't remember offhand which pin goes with its counterpart.
If the wiring is good, then you can check the control unit itself.
Best of luck! I hope you find a fix :)
