Great first video for the Evoque project and good fix with the pulley tensioner 👍. Did I see a motorbike behind you? Project Great Escape?

Thanks, hopefully start pressing on with it now most the parts have turned up for it!

Glad it was only the tensioners and all seems ok now. I find it odd that all 4 doors won't open. It can't be a part but rather something that sends the signal to the doors to open. As for the DPF I have seen on another channel that it can be filled and flushed with a chemical. It's either that or get a professional company to come out and clean it. Check it's not the sensor playing up as that could cause the same readings. Also apologies for the Pussy Range Rover comment LOL It's only because the Sports are the baby RR's as I have a L322 4.2 Supercharged!! Keep up the good work and am looking forward to the next video.
PS Just had a thought about the doors, check the button in the remote is ok and not knackered. You might be able to get a cheap ebay replacement case and transfer the insides over and get the blade cut. Just an idea.

Me too, timing chains are an expensive job! I’ve got a chemical flush for the DPF going to try it myself and it can’t fix it going to call in the experts. I thought the same about the locks but they won’t lock on the button on the inside of the car either plus the hazards lights flash to show acknowledgment of receiving the signal and it’s a really common issue.
      P.S
I know the project name was in jest so don’t worry.

Great video, I hate misdiagnosing things just recently my ford focus mk2 has has a vibration when I put my foot hard down on the accelerator on the motorway and a bit of clunking when changing gear I changed the engine mount but no real diffrence back to the drawing board I guess.

Have you checked your Driveshafts? Really common on the STs. I had similar issue and changed a driveshaft and the problem went.

@@BamMotors Yes the right hand side one has a little play in it not much though, I have the 1.8 TDCI but the suspension layout looks very much the same as your ST. What sympoms did you get when the driveshaft went?

    Hi,
I have a problem with my Evoque 2015 . Engine lights on my dashboard, they checked by land rover shop and changed the exhaust sensor and they found out a noise/smoke in the engine and recommend timing chain replacement. I don't know if it's the main issue coz it's very expensive. Any idea? Thanks

      Hi,
Sorry to hear about your issues but I can’t help as I’m not a Range Rover expert sorry.
