The simple reason Anthony doesn't average about 5 or 6 assists is because his teammates don't hit enough shots he passes enough to average about at least 4 or 5 assists

Melo is simply not in the league of lebron or even harden at finding his teammates WHILE getting his at the same time. No matter how much he tries he's not that natural passer. So he will never avg 6+. But he can easily avg 5 with good teammates
