Great review! Lufthansa should really look at providing a complementary hot snack instead of the muffin and fruit that they gave you, if they don't want to provide a full second meal service :)

@@flywithdominik I have been on Lufthansa's A330, CRJ900 and B747-400. I agree with you that they are a great airline but do not meet up to 5 star. I had better on Swiss airlines than on Lufthansa.
@@K4Ediamond In my opinion it isn’t Lufthansa‘s fault that Skytrax gave them the 5-star rating. In addition to that, Lufthansa‘s new Business Class should have been launched two years ago with the new 777-X but we all know the problems with that aircraft.
i wish lufthansa starts a direct flight to san jose from frankfurt both are my favorite cities

I flew DUB -FRA -MIA and back and they were awful food wise crew were lovely

Yes, there were full-size power outlets.

Haha ja, ich bin vor dem Flug einen Monat durch Panama, Kolumbien und die USA gereist...bei ordentlich Sonne... :)
Lufthansa is well above Air Canada from all standpoints even though the food it's not as good as it is used to be few years ago. Maybe things have changed now, but 3 or 4 years ago, AC was flying this route with some old "rusty" A333, and the onboard service was not that great either. Especially AC Rouge was a true horror on their transatlantic flights.

Legroom is a disaster! Like a cattle car. They are full because most airlines no longer fly or cut flights. Better a muffin than a crummy grenola bar they sometimes serve.
That's a shame. Cathay A350 in regular Economy on Hong Kong to Bangkok has phenomenal legroom
Cathay has 1 inch or 2,5 cm more leg room.

You should be happy to get a meal in Economy and not complaining about; you want to choose, get a business ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, normally I'd be fine with just one meal. But not onboard a so called "5 star airline". That's simply weak in my eyes.
Erm, have you flown international economy on a full cost carrier before? It’s a norm for airlines to offer 2 meal options and offer at least 2 hot meals and even hot snacks in between meals in long haul economy. You don’t have to fly business in order to choose, so the complain is pretty legit and Lufthansa is pretty weak compared to it’s competitors. Don’t scorn people off before getting your facts right.
