What excuses are they using in India, NZ, AUS, and other countries? In the NL it is "nitrogen", the very thing that plants require to grow.
In the last century nitrogen was added to soil to increase the production of crops. It's the sole reason why we're able to feed everyone. Now they say that this nitrogen is horrible, because it changes the biodiversity in the "natura-2000"-protected parks. There's EU-directives and rules that say that those parks should remain EXACTLY the same FOREVER in terms of biodiversity. So the same plants, trees, and animals should live in those parks forever. And that is changed by a couple percent through nitrogen emissions.
The farmers should therefor reduce their nitrogen emissions (i.e. the very thing plants need to grow), or be put out of business. They publicly said that they want to halve the livestock population. It's not feasible for farmers to change their entire business model in a couple years. This forces them to sell their farms and lands. And that land will be used to further repopulate and transform the EU demographically. Where the food be grown then? Well, somewhere far away where the government controls the food supply. They will grow it in Ukraine, which is also why the war is being fought. And they will determine what's enough food for you, and which type of food you're allowed to eat because we of course want to "PrEVeNt ThE EaRtH fRoM BoiLiNg 0.o" - all food should be CO2-neutral lmao! Never mind that it's never been proven that CO2 causes climate change. And never mind the fact that all climate change can be addressed more cost-effectively through directed measures (i.e. raising the dikes, proper forest-and floodmanagement, etc).
So it's all just a giant interconnected scam: the war in Ukraine is fought because of its fertile lands and resources. The climate change scam is presented because they want to control you and your resources. And the nitrogen-hoax is used to take the land of the farmers, repopulate the entirety of Europe further and move all foodproduction to Ukraine.

My family was evicted from our farm in Zimbabwe in 2004. 20 years ago. We were evicted because we were white. The world kept silent. The consequences to Zimbabwe is a country that has no property rights or ability to secure finance. Nationalised land has wiped away the value of land. Zimbabwe is a net importer of food and the light industrial sector has collapsed... except of course for big corps who have sidled up to politicians and small businesses have all but died.

Where in Africa does farming excel when not run by non African indigenous farmers? Nowhere. Indigenous Africans don't farm as efficiently as Europeans. Let them starve if they push out good farmers.

I have farmed small scale for years. I make flip all but can usually pay the bills.
The last four years costs are exploding. Electricity in Europe is gone stone mad. My bill has doubled since 2020.
I have friends who had decent businesses in tourism and hospitality sectors. Killarney, the touristvl capital of Ireland, 40% of the beds there occupied by refugees now. Just wrecking the (tourist) economy of the region.
But among our politicians, almost none off them see any problems with this.

Protest during the last two years, for the freedom to deceid if want take part in medical trial or not have been ignored or put into the right extremists corner by our government TV and newspaper media.
People awake only very slow in Germany to realise who is to blame for all this misery and it's not Mr. Putin nor Mr. Trump.
In the UK, farming now employs around 2% of labour, if I recall correctly. They therefore have no voting power compared with other lobby groups, such as health, education, and care. Also, the young generations (and I generalise here) have no idea where food comes from, beyond a packet in the supermarket, and so don't value it. Frankly, there's more votes in making some proclamation supporting a minority victim group than there is in supporting the farming sector.

In The Netherlands there's a deposition limit of 5 millimoles of Nitrogen per m^2. Which type of Nitrogen is not specified in the public debate, so depending on which nitrogenic compound we're talking about this ranges from 140 *milligrams* (for N2) to 380 milligrams (for NO3) of deposition of "Nitrogen" per m^2. What I haven't found anywhere yet is an answer to the following: How can such minute quantities possibly affect the environment so drastically as is being claimed while the natural environment and farming land have a yearly nitrogen-flux in the order of many *kilograms* per m^2!? It totally doesn't make sense, it's literally millions of times lower than natural flux. No one asks these questions in the media.
On top of this our governmentally subsidized national research institute (TNO) presented a report in 2022 (I believe) concluding that measuring millimole/milligram changes in nitrogen per m^2 is beyond current technical capabilities by a factor 100x. Consequently, they therefore also concluded that because of this regulation, legislation and especially evaluation is impossible.
That report has disappeared from the public debate and is somewhere in someone's drawer in our ministries to never see the daylight again. Undesired facts.
So, as Eva says, if you can't piece together the reasoning and arguments anymore then all you can do is look at the consequences of said/pushed legislation and infer from that what the intention is.
People world wide should form some form of resistance to all of this.. can’t believe these people always get away with these things and we should just accept it.

Does anybody not read History Books anymore. My Grandmother grew up in 1920's and 1930's Germany. She came to America in late 1930 and made a GREAT Life here. Lived till 95. She would tell us these exact stories of what the Government would do. Take your Guns, Control the Food Supply, turn the Military against its own people, etc.... EXACTALLY what is going on right now. Words, protests, and strikes are not enough to make them understand the gravity of the situation. They seem to be unperturbed by such actions.

This may be a coincidence, but around 2000 there was a socio-economic flip that few people know about.
It was when the median government worker started to get a higher life time remuneration than those in the private sector.
This then blurs the line between whether the government exists to work for us or do we exist to service the government.
What is the difference between a modern tax payer and a slave on the plantation where the government has the physical force and the law to confiscate your property at a level they seem necessary.
The only visible difference is that we supposedly vote in our "Masters", but as we have seen over the past 8 or so years that democratic process is more of an illusion than the reality.
Politicians and government officials are starting to say things that smack of the "divine right of kings" and we have become the "deplorable" and unwashed serfs.

We are in a non kinetic global class war and the majority of people are unaware of this. This class war have been there for decades (i.e. since 1972 - 73 start of FIAT monetary system). In Norway there is mere farmers left. We are importing bad meat from abroad although we have thousands of frozen high quality domestic produced meat at hand. Farmers those few left is not properly paid for their products by design. Bugs/insects is introduced as well. The policy here from the criminal syndicate who has taken control of the state towards the "hunger game" is very sophisticated. We heading for a catastrophe.
We run a Market farm not big ag but we make a impact in our community, every little bit helps. Everyone needs around the world needs to stand up together.

Hope is not all lost. I live and work in Saskatchewan, and we have made enormous progress in irrigation methods. I myself help build what we call pivots. We no longer have to rely on the weather to maintain crops. We will feed the world.
It's not a lack of food - it's a political issue. Food is available but not going where it needs to. Think about how easy it is to get a dog to "sit" by offering it a "treat". How much more so if it's underfed. That is the goal.

This is what the EFF, the 3rd largest political party in South Africa, is trying to do to South Africa and the leading party the ANC is happy to sit on the sideline and watch it happen. They even have a song, which during Apartheid struggle was relevant, but now after 30 years of democracy and ANC rule they still sing it, the songs name is Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer. There are also brutal tortures, rapes and murders of South African farmers which happen on a regular basis. So horrific are these scenes that the farmers are leaving the country in fear for their lives, just like in Zimbabwe.
This is how people are already speaking about how we are ruled, as if we are one nation. We need to stop this.

Been a farmer in the midwest since I was a kid. We need to be honest with ourselves; Most farmers in the United States do not produce food for their community. They produce corn or soybeans that go into animal feed (almost always overseas), biofuel, or material goods. Claiming that restricting U.S. farmers restricts the food production capability of the United States is not accurate to the reality of modern agriculture, which is an industrial system that makes money for landowners.
If we don’t start the conversation from an accurate level, then we aren’t going to address the issues properly.
I think a small elite wants the farmers to stop on their own and to introduce the so-called "artificial meat". There's a huge profit there. However, this has nothing to do with meat. The health consequences will be catastrophic. But as usual, the customer will bear the responsibility and risk. I think the current situation of the citizen is an crime against humanity.
Going around spreading fanfiction as proof is a much greater crime against humanity.

Why are we not hearing more about: The Cloward-Piven strategy was developed in 1966 by Americans Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven - both sociologists and political activists. The Cloward-Piven strategy focused on overloading the United States public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis, which would ultimately lead to replacing the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty".

Farmer here: It's deeper, they don't just attack the farmers financially and our ability to self-sustain but the quality and quantity of meat available to us all, if there is no meat, there will be no strong men. That will result in a lower chance of a rebellion against tyranny. A weak population is their safety net, that's why they want to mRna jab the cows, and that's why cow farts cause climate change, why we have to pay carbon tax, why they limit owners to owning 1 cow/hectare of land. We are literally getting paid by the EU 1000 Euro / ha if we stop farming once and for all.
From 2024 in the EU it's mandatory to keep 4% of our land green, we cant actually seed it. And we get paid for anything but growing food.

Ecological catastrophism often starts with people not liking people rather than liking the planet, just as socialism often starts with people hating the rich rather than liking the poor - as Jung, Orwell, Peterson and the interviewee here have all pointed out in their own ways. Easy unchallenged misanthropy has come to underpin too much of policy making. You can see this in immigration policy too: its advocates often don't seem to care who they let in, they just hate the host population and nation or even the concept of nationhood itself. That hate is inevitably going to cost us dear if we let it become the dominant ideology and "virtue" of the day.

It's all a game. A friend of mine is a farmer who was living season to season planting traditional crops for the grocery store. He looked into subsidies and now he plants soy and gmo wheat, in 2 years he has paid off his farm and is debt free. He plays the game and wins big. When the government picks what we eat, long term, we all LOSE!
A great guy. Reminds me of the top man running one of those camps in the 1940's. He was a winner right up until 1945 when his camp was captured by Allied soldiers. He was a successful cog in the wheel, just obeying orders and doing quite well out of it.
