      Thank you for being Johnny on the spot. Being there from beginning. YES extension to structure a bad thing, especially when you don't know the Haz-Mat inside. Probably lots of Flammable material, by the looks of walls, possible a wrecking yard. Lots of fuel on other side of wall.

    But the lost time was of no consequence in this case.
    Donning full SCBA at a fire like this is important, and we have seen LAFD not be as carefull about this as they should be in several videos like this coming out of South LA.

      Agreed, most likely he is the senior FF on E66 and saw slow progress being made by the other FF who had originally pulled the line, she could’ve used alittle bit more of moving with a purpose. Just those few seconds made a world of difference during the fire attack!

    • @VfRuckus
      @VfRuckus 3 года назад +6

      You're completely wrong. He was not prepared, no gloves, no SCBA, no safety. It's a fucking RV and it's completely destroyed, there was no chance of saving it in those precious 10 seconds it took for the other firefighter to don their SCBA. Also he had a saw, he had a job to do. But I guess freelancing is his priority. That fighter did as trained, get the nozzle to the fire, flake it out. Put on your mask and get on air, then attack. You don't don your SCBA until ready, air is precious. Everyone knows a RV is filled with shit that will kill you over long term. But I guess cancer and respiratory is not a concern for some firefighters, saving a completely destroyed RV is more important.

    What a bunch of clowns. 10 firetrucks to put one RV fire out.
    Must have been a slow day.

    I hate to criticise, but the hose operation was painfully slow . Too much running and slow coms

      Suggesting these homeless people do drugs? Nonsense. They were probably reading their med school text books by candle light.

    Half the fire was out and the guy on the line initially was still getting ready. The 2nd guy ( black boots) was like, " F the Scott! Just get water on it!".

    With all the damages fires like this are doing to adjacent businesses, I can see the business owners pushing back hard at the homeless.

      I agree just look at the damage to the telephone & cable/internet lines that is costly!

      Insurance, security bars/alarms/cameras, feces/trash/needles on the sidewalk where the customers enter the business, and the homeless people cook food/drugs in their broken down vehicles. Good times!

    How come firefighters are not fully dressed with all the protective gear and stuff upon arrival? Only a few are wearing masks.. Why is that? Sorry for my bad english 🙂

    I don't get why they had to gain access to that business in the yard and inside, the fire was outside of the fence, and if they had to check to make sure there wasn't any fires inside the fence, then all they had to do was get on the roof and look, or put a ladder up to the fence and look over!
