Bless you on your journey. I hope you have family to support you. I wish l could offer you better words of comfort. I do hope you are comfortable as lm writing this. Peace to you. ❤❤
@ My goodness….! Thank you so much for caring and reaching out. I don’t have family but the NHS is doing an amazing job looking after me. Then theirs tertiary teams that look after me that are beyond amazing. I’m an optimist and every day that I wake up is a good day. God bless you and your family and loved ones hun. 🥰
@ God bless you. I had the privilege to nurse for nearly 20 years. In my darkest hours I draw strength from spectacular human beings like you. Though you’re bedridden, you make life work. I’ve seen your kind of strength time and time again. Keep it up hun and God bless you.
I seriously doubt Catherine and Arthur's marriage was consummated. Even with everything at stake, she was a devout Catholic and I can't imagine her lying. Arthur was all of 15, maybe a late bloomer? If he hadn't completed or even begun puberty I can believe she married Henry as a virgin. Catherine would have believed lying about such an important matter as condemnation to hell.
I’m with you. Her stating that she was a virgin under the sacrament of confession…She definitely thought her immortal soul would go to hell if she lied. Also, the papal dispensation covered the possibility the marriage to Arthur was consummated.
Could someone please do a documentary about all 6 queens but about their childhood homes and the areas they stayed in routes they travelled places they visited from that time what it might have looked like compared to today. That would be an intetesting point of view... Thanks as always your videos are amazing.
@@thedarkangel456789 True, they say he was athletic and handome when he was young, and he was a humanist -- not cruel and mean-spirited. Some speculate it was the injury to his head that caused a change in personality.
A beautiful job as narrator!! As a descendant of many back-staircase pseudo-royals, unsubstantiated down through history with a surname of "King;' I have empathy for the abusive nature of absolutism by the upper nobility such as that blowhard Henry the eighth he was!!
Imagine if Arthur had survived long enough to be king and sire an heir how different things might have been plus he seems like he may have become a decent king not tyrant like fat Henry 🤔
I LOVE this channel. Could these long shows be spilt into half? 5 hours and 42 minutes is a huge chunk of time. I actually listen to the programs but it is not feasible to watch and pay attention for that length of time. Yes, I do pause it and return. I simply as to break it up into smaller shows.
It always strikes me that Anna never remarried. Even knowing her upbringing and understanding of womanhood was vastly different to that of the English. She undoubtedly must have had suitors, that income and that many properties she would have been a catch. Particularly for a second or subsequent son who was not going inherit.
Henry VIII wasn’t a tyrant-he was a visionary who did what was necessary to secure England’s future. People criticize his personal life, but his political moves laid the groundwork for modern England. Give the man some credit
Did he though? The reformation cost thousands of lives at his and his children's orders. It destroyed monasteries and lost the only spaces some women had to go for safety. Including one of his ancestors after she decided to say f**k it it and marry the hot Welshman. That religious upheaval may have happened eventually but probably not as brutally or with as much loss of life as there was in a generation and a half. He did improve things but at what cost? How much of that was people around him cleaning up? And how much of our perception is because it all came out ok in the end?

I'm not terminal but am bedridden and I too listen to his voice to go to sleep.
God bless you.

You’re so right!
In all of history, no devoutly religious person has EVER lied about sex or a sexual act….. 🤨
I’m with you. Her stating that she was a virgin under the sacrament of confession…She definitely thought her immortal soul would go to hell if she lied.
Also, the papal dispensation covered the possibility the marriage to Arthur was consummated.
If she thought her life was at stake lm sure she'd lie. She had every right, he was her husband.
We will never truly know.
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.
That is how i learned it in Grade School.
Congratulations 😐
I'm Henry VIII, I had six sorry wives.
Some might say I ruined their lives!
'Glad I learned that instead of financial advice'
Never heard that one before

Love your content. ❤❤❤
This is going to be the BEST sleep story.
I’m so glad you made this comment as I didn’t notice the length.😅
I will watch at bedtime. 🛌😴
Thank you.😊
Absolutely!
Absolutely.
Well done 👏👏👏👏
The people loved Catherine, not Anne!
Yeah and the people loved Elizabeth, not Mary! 😂
I found some rather questionable opinions in this vid. But it is refreshing to a degree to see someone interpreting the past differently
Henry VIII had a jousting accident that messed with his head. He was never the same after that.
Pretty much. Not only his head. Physically he was messed up.
Always thought it was only his leg but head explains a lot too
I find that so interesting. I want to read more about his head injury and the psychological changes he went through
Love your content guys! Thanks For this! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Catherine of Aragon is quite possibly one of the most interesting women in history to me.
Henry VIII he was afraid of killing Catherine of Aragon for the powerfull nephew Charles King of Spain and Emperor .

"It would be better for that man, if ...."
Exactly. Elizabeth knew better.
Probably the best kings were the ones we never hear about
Henry 8 was cruel and ugly. He was a mean man. Killed a lot of people.
Not when he was young

At 1:14:42 I was like, "Mnh-Mnh, You ain't finished." Then I remembered this is a 6 hour long masterpiece. 😂🤣

And all SIX wives are tired of being just one word in a stupid rhyme 😂💜
Anne Boleyn & Anne of Cleves

Good morning 😊❤
Henry The 8th was a player 😂😂😂
Water is wet

Excelent👏👏👏
Could you please make a video about desire clary? 🤩
Would be fantastic🤩
Can you please do a profile on the Plantagenet warrior kings?
I love everything related to the Tudors.
Henry8 was confused by three simple words, childless, wife, widow.
Imagine if Arthur had survived long enough to be king and sire an heir how different things might have been plus he seems like he may have become a decent king not tyrant like fat Henry 🤔

Europe feared the destabilization of the established order by Henry's destruction of family lines through the willful dismissal of Marriage.
Yall already made this documentary. Still amazing though
Big fat no to the very annoying background music.
Minute 2:20 THAT WAS A STRAYYYY 😂😂😂
I believe Henry gave Jane a great funeral because she gave him a son. I honestly don’t think that man was capable of genuine love in his later years.
What a dog

Let's take a look from different prospective, 6 wives and none of they were dissent enough. In 500 years, not much have changed.

This is what Melissa Jonas Richard does, she has changed my life.
After raising up to 60k trading with her, I bought a new house and car here in the US and also paid for my son’s (Oscar) surgery. Glory to God.shalom.
I know Melissa Jonas Richard, and I have also had success...
Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Melissa Jonas Richard.
