So happy that you're happy. Honestly, that's the biggest goal for everyone. Everyone deserves happiness and if you're not happy where you're at, it's important to take a step back and rethink, plan, and do whatever you got to do to take a step to be happy again.
yes! i totally agree with that, it is so easy to get stuck in a routine or lifestyle that you aren't content with- this definitely was a blessing in disguise!

Ahhhh been there 2008. It’s pretty crushing but you are embracing it the right way -- an open door and a new adventure. You have great life skills. One reason you may be extra tired is the silent stress on the lay-off. It takes a toll so get extra rest !
yes, to new adventures! i am trying to get a little extra rest these days, although i am happy with the outcome, it has been strange to not work a job i had for over 2 years!

yes! i will do a video like that for one of my upcoming auditions!
So get this - I also lost my job at the end of 2022 AND have a similar attitude (and privilege) to use it as an opportunity to pursue other creative endeavors and try new things and so I love this for you and for me!!!
I freakin' love that you show us your performance arts stuff!! I'm also an actor but moved away from "live action" to do voice acting, but I still love theatre peeps! So I love watching your day to day as a different type of performer than me! You also make me miss dance classes SO MUCH! omg x'D

You are so busy I don't even know how you did a 9-5 job! Thank goodness you have friends and other interests and career aspirations. I was laid off once. It was weird for a couple of months but it turned out to be for the best in the end. Love your videos!

I feel you♥️ Now I am in a condition when I need to think about lots of things. I started to learn English and I started to post videos here in English which is quite difficult for me but really helps to clear my mind and figure out what I need for future.

I was laid off 2 weeks ago (Mortgage industry) but I look at it as a blessing in disguises since I was so unhappy in that job and like you was debating quitting. I am happy for both of us to pursue our passions in this newfound freedom.

My wife lost her job in 2018 and we moved to Mexico from nyc and life has never been better. Also, when you’re at dance I can see my old therapist offices from the window lol😂
Been laid off twice. Once in the run up to 2008 crash, and in 2015 when the startup I was working for lost its main investor. Every time it took me out my comfort zone and pushed me and proved both times to lead to great things. It can be scary, glad your relaxed, the RUclipss can support... never watched a blog video like this before... it was chill and nice (and NYC, yey)

I know you say you’re happy about the job loss so its not that, but idk you seem a little down and blue in this vlog. maybe it’s just the gloom thats been in nyc lately ❤️🩹 hopefully you find some spark again. its supposed to be sunny this week so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!! gob knows we all need some vitamin d right now
i was a little stressed about getting everything done at the beginning of the week, so that might have been it 😅 also i agree i need more sunlight, the winter can get me down easily!
