- It’s early September and bear season is behind us! We got to trail this cat a pretty good ways before the sun and heat burned off the scent we had to work with. Not quite fresh enough. We will get him next time! Good practice for the dogs at the very least! #hunting #cougar #mountainlion #dryground #hounds #houndhunting #huntingwithdogs #coldtrail #coldnose #houndhunt #dirtlion #hounddog #hunt #utah #september #fall #fallhunt
If the sound of a hound speaking is the last thing I hear before I die I will be the happiest man in the world.👍🏴
Cool I found you by accident now I can watch the BMC. 👍👍👍
Awesome work man, keep it up!
Thanks a ton!
Plot, Bluetick, Walker and Black Mouth Cur what a nice pack of hounds. They worked a cold trail.
Good stuff .. they are working .. keep it up
Thank you!! Never gets old man, I can’t get enough…
I like how the dogs howl to let you no that Thier on scent
That bluetick was working that scent hard, those blue dogs are something special! Keep up the hard work of keeping the tradition alive and well.
Cold trail and warm weather. Bummer!
Keep it up, I love the videos. I also like that you have a cur dog in the pack!
Thank you! Haha he is quite the conversation piece for sure I’m about the only guy here that does it. Not even really by choice is the funny part haha
@@Houndcrazy_ my buddy has a cur that I take with my hounds she is a great dog I’m tempted to tell him she ran off & keep her for myself lol
The hounds learn from working a "lose". I'm no expert, but I know a little here and there. I didn't have the equipment you have when I played with it. But I enjoyed my time doing it when younger. Keep the tradition alive and do it well and with integrity. If you can ever land the autobiographies of Ollie Barney and Dale Lee, two old-time dry ground Arizona lion and predator hunters, you will learn a great deal and have enjoyable stories to read. Both books are hard to find. Dale Lee even went Jaguar hunting in Mexico and South America. In fact, you can look up either hunter on youtube and see or hear audio interviews with each of them. Probably audio only, but you'll see pictures of some pioneer Arizona houndsmen. I knew Ollie as a personal friend and have his autographed book and he also hooked me up with a autographed book of Dale Lee's. Dale Lee helped develop the Bluetick Hound out west. Hump those mountains while you can! I am i n awe that you do it afoot instead of of on horseback. Get some lions, hoss!!
Awesome info, I will for sure check that out!! Thank you a bunch👌🏻
Wow !!!!! Amazing
Thanks for the video. Love to see working dogs track. How long have you been doing it? Is it difficult to get in the sport? I am tempted, but do not have the hunting dogs.
Thanks
I’ve been around it for a long time, have had dogs of my own for 5 years
Love them blueticks, looks like my deer pack
*those
Me too do not want Eze game
Mountain lions, along with being a crucial keystone species, because of their huge territories are a focal species. They are absolutely integral for our ecosystems, from vegetation health, deer and pest populations, to song birds and aquatic species. Their presence is vital in our natural environment, they need no population control, are elusive and extremely rare a threat to humans. Hunting them is cruel, pathetic, and completely devastating to our planet.
You should try to educate yourself and not spout off propaganda. You had a few valid points then veered off track. Pun intended. I'm sure there are things you do that others may not agree with, but the difference is they don't go to your channel and espouse their misguided views. Good luck in your pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.
@@hbhkennel918 You should try education yourself on basic wildlife biology.
@@halwentz554 Well, good sir. I feel like I have done just that with two bachelor's degrees and a minor not to mention 40 yrs of hunting, fishing and hiking experience. Let me guess, you have three masters degrees and 50 yrs of outdoor experience. Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
@@hbhkennel918 Sure you do!! LOL 3 master degrees in BS?
@@hbhkennel918 Hiking nor does hunting experience doesn't make you a wildlife biologist.
Leave the cats alone, get a damn real job.
😂never!
@Houndcrazy_ can I have his cat 😂
lol poor guy
@@Houndcrazy_ Watch out, the dirty liberal apologists are running wild! Good video btw!
