Absolutely it can! I had acne for 20 years until I did Accutane. But I was still left with scarring. The honey and olive oil in this both help with scarring. Something with aloe would work well for the scars too.
I have oily skin too which is a big cause of our breakouts. But using this at night should help your skin to calm down needing to produce so much oil. Try it a couple nights a week to start and see if you like it. Combining 2 active ingredients in your face wash should help too. For example using one morning wash with salicylic acid and a different nighttime wash with benzoyl peroxide or sulfur or something like that.
