The late Carl Arendt did some nice work in Gn15. His "Squarefoot Estate Railway" layout was in that scale and was featured in Model Railroader and several of the small layout books Carl Authored. Cheers!
I remember that layout - it was great! I think that might have been the one where the characters/people were modelled from clay? Or maybe I’m thinking of a different GN15 layout.
Thank you for showing my layout! These photos are pretty outdated now, everything has grass and even my builings have lighting! I sent you some more photos i think last month of the progress. Again thank you from Australia!
There are quite a few who model narrow gauge in UK and combine scale and track gauges together so that they can represent a certain gauge. Wiki indicates Gn15 is often used to represent 15" gauge track. Many will be able to find industrial sites that had narrow gauge line that can inspire compact layouts.
More than anything I look forward to your viewer features. There is so much information to be gained and so much interesting to be seen. Thanks for sharing.
I wish we had more narrow gauge prototypes in the usa and more opportunities to pick up narrow gauge models that run over the world. The French heritage railroad, Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme is one I want to model, but it’s hard to find out where to get stuff for a reasonable price. I like 1:160 for space, but it’s a narrow gauge railroad and wouldn’t look quite right, or quite to scale. I may attempt scratch building some of the stations and homes eventually, but it’s not something that I’m up to yet. Currently I’m just using some British n gauge stuff, which is 1:148. I’ll be getting a Dapol pannier tank and a Graham Farish class 04.
Good morning! I am drinking something new: Penny Pincher's Dark Roast whole-bean coffee, ground fresh this morning! Great dark roast flavor and very little caffeine, which makes my doctor happy with me! Great video, I can't say I've ever heard of this scale either, but it was awesome to see this layout! Thank you for sharing! And on scales: Since you have both in the works now, how about a video or series of videos showing N and HO side-by-side? Pros and cons of the two top sellers? 🙂
I guess were all a little surprised by this layout GN15. I loved the train and the people.... Really Great. I gave up coffee in the mornings and switched to Green tea with a twist of lemon. That just sound so exciting I have a question for you how it's a short you did on DCC++EX. How did you get the extra programming mode up.? I changed the login and password for the access point but did it under one of the modules. It didn't seem to be done in config.h
Drinking a cup of Cowboy Blend from Mystic Monk Coffee out in Wyoming. Love these layouts!

Which pannier tank are you looking at. I have just bought the Dapol class 57. Still need to run it in but it is a classy looking wee loco.
I am just starting my too. Just ordered a kato unitrack set from Lombard hobbies.
