Just grab the carbs at the top and pull back. It puts even pressure on all of them and won't loosen the connection from bending them by only pulling one.
if you replace your hardened coller rubbers? which arent expensive, then apply a smear of sylicon grease to both the new rubber and alloy flange! the carbs will push on snug and not require any form of hammering!
