The S-4 is definitely growing on me. There are some issues with popping when a loop starts over, but hopefully they can fix that in a firmware update. I'm using it primarily for drone/ambient, but hoping to use it for more danceable fare in the near future. I have shared some videos my S-4 experiments on my page ✌️🖤
Bought the S4 last week. I'm super blown away by the features, usability, and really ease of use. Took me two YT Videos to understand the workflow. Congrats on this one.
Loops can either play in TAPE mode (no midi - or, at least on the previous firmware, midi changes speed/pitch while loop is playing) or POLY mode (starts with note on and ends with note off). As of now, loops aren't automatically warped to tempo (even with bpm in the file name, it seems), so it takes a little adjusting. Also timing seems a tiny bit delayed and there is no slicing option as of now. Fingers crossed for this!
At this rate it's going to take years until this thing resembles anything they promised. There are buttons on that thing that prompt 'Coming Soon' when you press them. Been on 1.1.0 for over a month now.

It's got midi sync now, at least. Never was "shit", as it's got plenty good features, but the wait for full experience isn't for everyone I guess.
Yup. It will be shit for years. Does not do what it said on the box when they were shilling the fuck out of it. It is a joke of a device.

Inflation! Its 4-part multi-timbral. Better than most analogue synths. Also better than the OP-1 i believe and many others
